Man thanks for these videos, life's kinda kicked my butt the past few years and had me down and out, I used to fish religiously had alot happened and gave it up. Watching you I picked it back up this year have had the best year I've had in life in 3 years. Spenser what a nice way to spend a weekend with Ella and friends and that channel was big to boot! Head out to day for 5 days, gonna be hot the first couple but I have faith. Besides watching you catch Cats just makes me more excited about getting to the water.
Home made firestarter: candle wax, dryer lint & the cardboard like egg cartons... put dryer lint in each egg divot, cover with melted candle wax, let dry & break into singles! Best & cheapest I have ever used plus each one burns for about 20mins... happy fishing!!

There is nothing like a fishing trip with the fam...maybe except going fishing alone 😂😂😂 the editing was spot on Spencer.
Me and a buddy went camping/fishing about an hour from home. We go to set up the tent and realize that we left the tent poles at home. Not wanting to loose 2 hours of fishing time we set the tent between 2 trees and used a couple stringers to hold it up just high enough to crawl in and sleep.

A few videos ago I mentioned something about the Frank's hot sauce. Finally tried it and it was good! Your right, the heat from the sauce diminishes and you're left with more of the flavour itself. It's funny because I explained that same thing to somebody else like you did in the video. Watching your channel makes me want to fish that much more! Keep them coming!

I would love to go out and camp like your self but I live on a town that know to be pretty violent. There are many rivers and lakes, but at night there or some creepy people living in there cars at night. One time I went to fish at night and same guy came up to me and asked if I was married. That was purtty creepy.

You need a tiny folding shovel for your cooking kit. I always carry one in my tackle bag going to the river. Handy tool. I might have gotten mine at walmart, but a farm store or surplus store would probably have one.

Floated the Des Moines a 100 times or more. Both north of Humboldt/Dakota City to Fort Dodge as a 7-9 year old and from Keosauqua to the Mississippi and our cabin near the Fox river junction. Best of times!
