I became Catholic in 2010. I am a bit of a late comer to The Chosen. I've binge watched both seasons multiple times. I boldly and with far less humility than I should have, predict that The Chosen is going to convert many people to Catholicism. We have a Catholic Jesus playing Jesus. How cool is that?! Thanks to everyone involved with the production of The Chosen. It's remarkable.
Praying the Rosary daily has cured me of depression. I wasn't expecting it. Mass every Sunday and now I'm trying to watch on the computer everyday - why because life is tough, and God is on my side. Thank you very much!!! God bless you all.

At the age of 73, being a life long Catholic, I had hit a dry patch in my relationship with Our Father. It was a frightening place to be. Visiting friends in another state, I was introduced to The Chosen. Watching the series has been a life changer for me. I am now delving deeper into my faith as I wait excitedly for season 3. It was an incredible honor to be part of that amazing day! To step into the 1st Century and experience what it may have been like to sit at the feet of Jesus was life altering. I think I'm becoming Christian. The process has been going on for a while now and I have so many things that I still don't know about the difference between Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants... My old faith (I was born Muslim) isn't making the transition any easier but after watching The Chosen, I can't fight this feeling anymore. It still feels awkward to say it. Partly because having lost my faith once, I'm worried things will go wrong with Christianity (that would be both terrifying and embarassing). My family doesn't know yet, only my brother and my boyfriend and his family do. My friends don't either. I've watched a lot of Christian related videos lately and keep writing long comments only to delete them last minute but I thought this time I should just post it.
I was able to be there freezing my behind off but it was fun being part of this amazing show. Jonathan thank you for your efforts. You have done a masterful job and I feel God is with you in this endeavor. Keep up the good work.

I love watching 'The Chosen'. It is soo inspirational. The great actors. The scenes and cinematography n all that's done is perfect. I grew up being Catholic. Then in 1977 my sister accepted Jesus Christ as her Sacior n Lord at her friends Christian church n it changed her life completely. I wanted what she had - soo much joy n peace n could not stop talking about Jesus. So one year later, I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart as my Savior n Lord. Then attending her Christian Church. Learned so much abt reading the bible. Jonathan's portrayal of Jesus is so right on. Outstanding! Watch it all the time n even go to the theatre to watch the specials. As an ardent, orthodox Catholic, I can say that season 1 was absolutely in line with Catholic Church teaching. I even reaching out to the creator, Mr Jenkins early on (before season 1 aired) and asked that he avoid conflicting positions with Catholic teachings (Mary’s perpetual virginity being the obvious focal point) and he replied that that was his goal. The fact that the star (Jonathan Roumie) appears to be a devout Catholic is a great reassurance that they will continue that position.

"Brought closer to their faith" - that's me, can't get enough of the Chosen. I'm locked down and spend a lot of my days either praying, at Mass or watching the Chosen. Literally the Chosen has taken me away from all the other binge watching I used to do and brought me closer to my faith.

Catholic religion is a stronghold of Satan and has been from the beginning. Your best time spent, is to know for yourself the Scriptures by praying (to God and no one else) and reading. I was born a Catholic and when actually re-born as a child of God, I studied religions and history. The church are the followers of Christ with 2 or more together. Not followers of a religion. You can find all that out in the Scriptures! The Bible has all the answers. Our world is full of deceptions, be careful and know the Truth for yourself. Jonathan im not a child but I am in remission from leukemia four years ago! I just don’t understand why I’m here but I’ve lost a younger cousin who was 41 ten years ago to colon cancer..so I guess He has His purpose for me...I just live to see what He has in store for me..not trying so hard to make life happen..just letting it happen!

Oh man, I’m from Dallas and yup that time in Feb 2021 was CRAZY cold. It was right after that we had the ice storm and energy crisis. Anyway, I’m ridiculous excited to see The Chosen’s take on the Sermon on the Mount. Someone gives me an opportunity to time travel, this is exactly what I’m going to witness, Jesus give this sermon.
This is so neat for me -last night I just watched Season 2 Ep. 8 "Beyond Mountains" - I was so moved and read some of those passages that night too (to put visual to the page!!). It was incredibly moving for me to see Jesus step out on the platform......this put such perspective into place of Jesus, his humanity, and it moves my heart to where I feel full of the Lord and His presence.
I think it's beautiful Jonathan! I was brought up Catholic when I was a young girl now I am almost 54 years old at this time in my life I do not believe in denomination but I do believe in Jesus Christ I believe he died for our sins I Believe In The word and I believe in the Ten Commandments I am a spiritual follower I believe in having a relationship with Jesus one-on-one. I love the Chosen and my twenty-year-old disciple, that's what I call him because he's born again at 17. He brought the show to my attention and I just love it and I turned it on to some of my friends as well and and they love this show. I became Catholic in 2010. I am a bit of a late comer to The Chosen. I've binge watched both seasons multiple times. I boldly and with far less humility than I should have, predict that The Chosen is going to convert many people to Catholicism. We have a Catholic Jesus playing Jesus. How cool is that?! Thanks to everyone involved with the production of The Chosen. It's remarkable.

Praying the Rosary daily has cured me of depression. I wasn't expecting it. Mass every Sunday and now I'm trying to watch on the computer everyday - why because life is tough, and God is on my side. Thank you very much!!! God bless you all.

At the age of 73, being a life long Catholic, I had hit a dry patch in my relationship with Our Father. It was a frightening place to be. Visiting friends in another state, I was introduced to The Chosen. Watching the series has been a life changer for me. I am now delving deeper into my faith as I wait excitedly for season 3. It was an incredible honor to be part of that amazing day! To step into the 1st Century and experience what it may have been like to sit at the feet of Jesus was life altering. It would have been maybe a teensy bit more pleasant to have had warmer weather, but every bit of it, from the 5am Covid testing, to greeting Dallas before getting on one of the last buses to leave, is an experience that I'll never forget. I think I'm becoming Christian. The process has been going on for a while now and I have so many things that I still don't know about the difference between Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants...
My old faith (I was born Muslim) isn't making the transition any easier but after watching The Chosen, I can't fight this feeling anymore.
It still feels awkward to say it. Partly because having lost my faith once, I'm worried things will go wrong with Christianity (that would be both terrifying and embarassing).
My family doesn't know yet, only my brother and my boyfriend and his family do. My friends don't either.
I've watched a lot of Christian related videos lately and keep writing long comments only to delete them last minute but I thought this time I should just post it.

I loved sermon on the mountain. My favorite scene is the lady by the fountain. Jesus talking to the kids- tis has to be my favorite
I love watching 'The Chosen'. It is soo inspirational. The great actors. The scenes and cinematography n all that's done is perfect. I grew up being Catholic. Then in 1977 my sister accepted Jesus Christ as her Sacior n Lord at her friends Christian church n it changed her life completely. I wanted what she had - soo much joy n peace n could not stop talking about Jesus. So one year later, I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart as my Savior n Lord. Then attending her Christian Church. Learned so much abt reading the bible. Jonathan's portrayal of Jesus is so right on. Outstanding! Watch it all the time n even go to the theatre to watch the specials. Thank you Jonathan for your great performance of Jesus.🙏

As an ardent, orthodox Catholic, I can say that season 1 was absolutely in line with Catholic Church teaching. I even reaching out to the creator, Mr Jenkins early on (before season 1 aired) and asked that he avoid conflicting positions with Catholic teachings (Mary’s perpetual virginity being the obvious focal point) and he replied that that was his goal. The fact that the star (Jonathan Roumie) appears to be a devout Catholic is a great reassurance that they will continue that position.

"Brought closer to their faith" - that's me, can't get enough of the Chosen. I'm locked down and spend a lot of my days either praying, at Mass or watching the Chosen. Literally the Chosen has taken me away from all the other binge watching I used to do and brought me closer to my faith.

Catholic religion is a stronghold of Satan and has been from the beginning. Your best time spent, is to know for yourself the Scriptures by praying (to God and no one else) and reading. I was born a Catholic and when actually re-born as a child of God, I studied religions and history. The church are the followers of Christ with 2 or more together. Not followers of a religion. You can find all that out in the Scriptures! The Bible has all the answers. Our world is full of deceptions, be careful and know the Truth for yourself. Jonathan im not a child but I am in remission from leukemia four years ago! I just don’t understand why I’m here but I’ve lost a younger cousin who was 41 ten years ago to colon cancer..so I guess He has His purpose for me...I just live to see what He has in store for me..not trying so hard to make life happen..just letting it happen!
What a gift that you were able to get together after such a momentous day and discuss the events as they unfolded, literally and spiritually. Your friendship is rooted in faith and it is so fortifying to hear you speak so openly and beautifully. God bless you both and your ministries! Oh man, I’m from Dallas and yup that time in Feb 2021 was CRAZY cold. It was right after that we had the ice storm and energy crisis.
Anyway, I’m ridiculous excited to see The Chosen’s take on the Sermon on the Mount. Someone gives me an opportunity to time travel, this is exactly what I’m going to witness, Jesus give this sermon.
This is so neat for me -last night I just watched Season 2 Ep. 8 "Beyond Mountains" - I was so moved and read some of those passages that night too (to put visual to the page!!). It was incredibly moving for me to see Jesus step out on the platform......this put such perspective into place of Jesus, his humanity, and it moves my heart to where I feel full of the Lord and His presence.

I think it's beautiful Jonathan! I was brought up Catholic when I was a young girl now I am almost 54 years old at this time in my life I do not believe in denomination but I do believe in Jesus Christ I believe he died for our sins I Believe In The word and I believe in the Ten Commandments I am a spiritual follower I believe in having a relationship with Jesus one-on-one. I love the Chosen and my twenty-year-old disciple, that's what I call him because he's born again at 17. He brought the show to my attention and I just love it and I turned it on to some of my friends as well and and they love this show. Again God bless you and all you do and may God find favor in you and give you the desires of your heart and God bless you. May his grace and mercy Reign Over You Forever. 🙏❤
