blasters are such fun little machines! I have a shitbox one that doesn't look all that great, but she runs like scalded dog! I bought it for 200 bucks, and it's fully rebuilt with big bore kit, new tires and brakes.... and I think I've barely got 700 bucks into it! I love that little thing!

2 and 4 strokes both have their place ! It really depends on personal preference and what you want to do. The same question applies to outboard boat motors and small block or big block ?

Hey buffduck, a couple months ago I commented about me picking up my first real quad, a 2002 Yamaha blaster. Unfortunately my friend didn’t want to sell it at the end and I just picked up a 1990 Honda fourtrax 300 2 days ago and I’m more than happy with it. Great video btw, I don’t know why you don’t have more subs!

I have a blaster 200 stroke it’s leaking oil. I was told it only needs a clutch gasket cover. Would that be causing a oil leak ? (Missing the gasket)
Either a missing gasket or the original one just went bad. its a really easy fix, just purchase the clutch cover gasket. make sure you drain the oil before taking it off then fill it back up when you are done.

How much for the blaster?
I was wondering what ur rear shock setting is at. Mines way to soft to do wheelies and just wanted to know what urs is at so I might k is where I should adjust mine to. Thanks. Btw 2 stroke
I'm not too sure exactly what its set at. I just left it from when I got it. If it's too tight I think you just spin the bolt that keeps the spring in place. It should make it stiffer when you tighten it.

please do the top end rebuild on video or a time lapse, also the oil change on the husky put it on time lapse. i love it

I have a blaster 8 years from new but never done the top end its fully stock and i rip on it everyday how do i know when it needs a top end
Hello, when you need to bump start it more than usual and when it starts to lose power
if you notice a lack in power or it takes longer to start. Also it will sometimes leave blow-by where the pipe meets the head. I'll explain it in the next video!

400ex has the smoothes powerband and the easiest balance point ever!!! U can just shift your weight back in 2nd gear and go from slow throttle to full and its like butter!!! No effort
Yes! it was super fun to shred, This one was little wider and lower them stock so I found it a little harder to find the balancing point but it was still super smooth! 🦆
Yeah I know right I got a 400ex iv had it for 2 years now I love it it might not be the fasted quad ever but the torque is crazy but some of my buddy’s got 450r and the 400ex is so much easier to work on and rides like a dream just the other day I did a 1 mile wheelie on it 5 gear

What's the difference between 4 stroke and 2 stroke
A lot but mainly the strokes in the pistons
4 strokes get lubricant from the engine oil and 2 strokes get it from the oil you put in the gas.

I love my blaster but I really miss my YZ250 how are those huskies are they good for long distance travel I need something that's not going to lock up on me 30 miles in the middle of nowhere on top of a mountain that's what happened to me on my YZ250 I ate shit for about 230 feet🤙
I have had really good luck with my husk so far. The biggest thing is to just keep up with maintenance. 🦆

If you ever make it to northern Minnesota by thief river falls area.... I'd like to drag race my daughter's Yamaha blaster in the mix, it will eat a stock Polaris scrambler 400 2-stroke in a drag race and on top end! No my daughter's Yamaha blaster is not stock....
It really depends 2stroke for dunes and fast lines but a good old yfz 450 or raptor 700 for trails And dunes I love all quads

@@buffduckracing7721 the 400 is more powerful (like 40 hp) while the blaster is like 20 horsepower and did u know that the Honda Grom has only 9 horsepower and it goes 60 mph just like the blaster but even though 400 has more power the two stroke engine is just better do u agree?
