...not just the noise, but dropping packages on concrete from around 8 - 10' up can't be good for the contents, particularly fragile items. Also as seen, packages are blown around by the drone's rotor wash and can end up off the recipient's property. Finally sitting out on a driveway or lawn close to the public sidewalk makes them more vulnerable to theft.
I would be more concerned children playing IN THEIR OWN YARD and then something flies right into their heads with a high speed . Also i can imagine the frenzy house dogs would go into after hearing all that noise and seeing that object hoovering
