Southern Cameroonians (Ambazonians) are fighting for liberation because we DESERVE to be free on our land. We were colonized by the British and the Germans, but when we were forced to join French Cameroon in the 1960s, France became our 3rd Colonizer.
Unlike our Francophone-Cameroonian Counterparts, we have NO cultural ties to France. We are treated like second-class citizens by Francophones, many of which have a strange superiority complex due to their "French" Identity (lol).
I used to advocate for the unity between Anglophone Cameroon and Francophone Cameroon, but i realize that it will never work. Too many cultural differences based on colonialism alone. TOO MANY Innocent Anglophone Cameroonian have been slaughtered, and too little Francophones have spoken out. Most Francophones simply do not care about the fact that Anglophones are being targeted and slaughtered.
One thing is for-sure, the Republic of Cameroon will not prosper until my people are LIBERATED. God is our witness. Peace and love to everyone reading this.

The British came nd introduce a plebiscite by joining us to French Cameroon who already had their own independent in 1960. We 've restored our independent back now fighting for recognition. This documentary seems rather one-sided to be frank. The rebels are no angels either, given some "consider schools to be legitimate targets because the French language is taught as a mandatory subject", for example. And I'm sure the local warlords aren't too keen for talks with the government as they are probably making good money. We have seen so many times in Africa that while the claims and reasons for independence of seceding regions were valid, the resulting conflicts brought more destruction than benefits obtained by sovereignity.

The fight is to restore the values of a lost state that prides to be the 1st democracy in Africa, in which a seating PM lost, and surrendered power to the winner in the most peaceful and democratic ways possible. The State of the Former British Southern Cameroons.
A state that went into federation with La Republique du Cameroun but Cameroun cunningly and unconstitutionally destroyed the federal status and greedily knitted an assimilation agenda that destroyed their police force, and economic and social institutions.
The diabolic agenda has also placed them in a deep rooted second-class position in the affairs of the ill-fatted Cameroun with respect to the terms or the raison d’etre of the union (that by the way doesn’t even have a treaty till date).
Those fighters may not adequately articulate the bad faith of the political mafia that also refuses to see the problem as it is. Nevertheless, the reasons for the quest for their freedom is briefed in these few line above.
I hope it sheds light to whoever cares to know the truth. In today’s world, there is no room for lies and manipulation. Unfortunately, even some Camerounians are not exposed to the veracity of their history.
