Thank you for taking the time to record this and post it. All the news shows is the roller coaster. People need to see the full extent of what happened down there and this really does that. Restore the Shore! May God bless all those impacted!
Heartbreaking to watch! But thank you for recording this! I have family that lives on the barrier island and I once called Seaside home, so this really hit hard for me, almost too hard to watch! So much devastation but Jersey is Strong and will rebuild and restore!!
Thank you so much for taking the time, dealing with all the obstacles to film this. This is the best footage I have seen of Seaside Heights after Sandy!! I have so many memories of Seaside and this is so heartbreaking. But we are Jersey strong and we will rebuild!!

Thanks for the video. My husband and I have strong memories of the area and we are heartbroken for all of you. We shared it with our young daughters who have enjoyed the boards and beach, and they are really sad too. We are sorry for your loss as well. We hope you can recover the Jersey shore magic soon.
Amazing how beautiful and serene the ocean is in this vid. Spent summers here as a kid, moved here at age 25 and lived here for 25 years. Moved away a year ago and since I left there have been 2 hurricanes and an earthquake. Need to rebuild considering the possibility of more storms like this coming,, unfortunately
Every summer i went to the boardwalk cause it was only 20 minutes away from where i live and seeing the rides and everything now it kinda breaks my heart. Ive lived here all my life and a big chunk of my fun summers is ruined... i hope they are able to fix the boardwalk because it was the highlight of every Jersey Shore summer
Going to Seaside on Easter Sunday has been our family tradition since my dad was a little boy.... this easter just won't be the same. Stay strong seaside.. I hope you've made great progress!!! see ya this summer I hope!

It's been several weeks & I still can't believe what I'm seeing.
I was there once as a kid and this breaks my heart. All those people who lost their businesses... I'll pray they can rebuild.
OMG I used to live right across the street from you at (my grandfather Lou lived there). Glad to see Sherman ave wasn't that bad! Thanks so much for sharing I have been heartbroken seeing all the images on tv / online of my home and not being able to get there!
was there once 20 yrs ago , was a great place to vacation, don't worry, you'll be back !! The ocean is not going anywhere !!

so many nights spent on that boardwalk with my husband having a good time, now we have to wait for them to rebuild and then we will be back
It is so sad to see a place that I was just at and the beach house I stayed at is just a pile of sand, we had plans to go to that same house again this year but its gone. ( I feel sorry to all those who lost their houses) I did it get to much damage for sandy, I will never forget you...

I am still just amazed that the Beachcomber got away with so little damage to the outside and yet everything around it was destroyed

Great video. I really wanted to see what happened to the boardwalk. But where is the famous Dentzel Carousel??? No one has mentioned it at all. It's in the building on Casino Pier. I have a picture of me and my surfing buddy walking on the beach with our boards and in the background is the Jet Star and the pier...before Sandy. Too sad :(

Thank you for posting! I was wondering if the carousel on the Heights side survived. I am heartbroken that the carousel on the park side did not. I also did not see the Sawmill is that okay?
From the video, you can't really see how warped the boards are. Everything had to be torn out because it lifted completely off the support structure and was unstable and not salvageable

I was there sat and it seems they tore out a lot of boardwalk from this video at least, seem ok. Ther area around Old time photo and the band stand all had the boardwalk removed it seems. do U know was it deemed unstabled?

Just curious; do you live nearby? I drove to Point today, but was turned away at the northernmost traffic light where 34 meets 88 by the train tracks. I wanted to see this for myself but can't get close, I guess they aren't letting only the house owners in still?

NY hasnt a hurricane since 1992 now there have been 2 in a Row, hurricane Irene in 2011 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012, do you guys think that there will be a hurricane EVERY single year now? Do you think it will become a regular thing?

I'd like to know if anybody is allowed over there now. I want to see the damage in person. i know it's not a nice sight. It looks like the Musik Express ride has been blown off the pier because I don't see it there and it was in front of The Enterprise. Does anyone know if we can still go there just to see all the damage that Hurricane Sandy did?

when is someone gonna show the people west of 35. Washington street west torus the bay area. all i saw was mei's pizza. if anyone is over there working film it please.
