This is a beautiful look. I am planning to use your technique for painting the inside of my travel trailer. The walls are a little slick, so I know ASCP will adhere nicely. Luckily its not as big as a house so I think three cans will do it. I'm using Frech Grey on the cabinets and Old White on the walls. I can't wait. Thanks for the tutorial!

Hi. Can I paint the walls with Annie Sloan chalk paint? here in Canada they dont sell the wall paint but yes the furniture chalk paint . thinking french linen for my walls. Any advise will help Thank you

I just painted a wall with Annie Sloane napoleonic chalk paint. Came out gorgeous. My husband wants to know if we can use latex over chalk if in the future we want to change the color of the wall.

Latex will stick to the Chalk Paint™ no problem, if you have waxed it then you will need to use Chalk Paint™ again to stick to the wax, then you can paint with Latex.

OMG whomever told u to use a roller like thst? You need a thicker roller with nap for better initial coverage

Hello! Just painted my wall with chalkpaint. What is the purpose of the clear wax and colored wax afterwards?

The clear wax acts as a barrier. If you only use dark wax, you will basically just be staining the paint and you’re stuck with whatever color comes out.

This is Soft Wax by Annie Sloan. We used Clear Wax first the Dark Wax second.
