I knocked out a dude (18-21) assaulting a young guy (14-16), and when the cops showed up, we all got cuffed until the sheriff’s figured out what actually happened. They got witness statements, video footage, and they let me go. Was I happy to be cuffed? No, but I don’t blame them for securing the scene until a relevant picture of the incident could be painted out via evidence.
That's cause you're smart enough to listen to an officer.

Hey thanks for helping that kid, someone saw that or heard about it and will help someone else one day.
This same thing happened to me when I was a teenager. (I’m a white red head) There was a fight at a gas station and someone wrongfully reported a gun being involved. We were pulled over and walked back to the cars, just like this, and sat in the car until it was sorted out. We released shortly after. What would of made it worse is bystanders screaming and escalating the situation.
But no one realizes that the lady screaming "they din du nuffin," is going to set them free. Didn't you hear the lady? She is a manager at Buffalo Wild Wings. She deserves more respect than officers giving their lives. Don't they realize that she is a messiah and knows everything about everyone? Those black people crack me up. And yes, they are always black or a fringe case of being white. Tired of the government saying there are no differences. Helter Skelter. Fuck black people and the train they rode in on. Messing it up for all of us whom can actually live in a society. Bunch of damn animals.

This gets to me every time, if the the LEOs don’t know what is going on they’re going to be cautious and get anyone involved, sometimes that includes someone standing by watching, into cuffs and go from there. They’ve done this more times than we, the civilians(we’ve never responded to any call of any type).

I know this is an old video but many thanks for breaking these videos for our police officers who risk their lives to keep us safe everyday in a job that gets harder and harder each day. God bless for educating us so we can see and understand what really happens and not what is blown up and out of proportion on social media. Even if it's 1 person at a time. I may be a bit biased since I am not dumb enough to cause a scene and interfere with some police operation that's going on (especially during the "guns out" stage of the operation) but I am ALL for this. Not to mention how much more entertaining nearly every video from a city would become. And being such an innovative people we would probably see some sort of semi-automatic TasR-15 in the future.
"De-escalate" try de-escalating with a person high on meth carrying a gun, see how he responds.This isn't elementary school or something, where Little Bobby punches Little Johnny because he took his favorite pen and the teacher "de-escalates" the situation so the two don't fight, these are people with potentially deadly weapons for God's frickin' sake.

You missed the most important part of this video: CONTEXT.
The police only did their job with the information given to them. They didn't harm anyone and only tried to keep people safe, which the people screaming on the sidewalk made alot harder to do by causing alot of noice and disturbance. I really can't see how this is the fault of the officers.
And btw you know what cops do right? Enforcing the law and yes, if someone is a suspect they get put in a cell untill they know what actually happend, now how is that a crime? You are saying that catching a suspect and detaining/putting them under arest is the same as a normal guy just putting someone in cuffs and kidnapping them?
Do you see them Hurting anybody on this video? Do you think someone is now traumatized for life because they are being arrested or detained? Because if so you have a weir way of looking at things. I'd rather have 100 people put in cuffs like this with guns pointed at them and nothing happening than 1 time there's a gun involved and police aren't securing the scene.
