I consider the entire situation probably a self ending by cop. For exactly the reason you are saying, I think he knew...bet he didn't expect to be shot in the D though. Also you don't really know the details it's possible he thought he was speaking with a parent who was selling access to the children. That isn't unheard of.

@bandgeekforlife406 Of course, that is very true. We are all as far away from the creator as you can get currently. People will move up or on eventually as they progress through their lives. For those with addiction or other struggles, there is a mental (all of life is mind) prison or hell that they put themselves in. Without the rational mind, they are only left with the reactionary mind. So they cannot reason, they just know what they feel. So until that works through them, they will stay there. Sometimes, they get help from souls that call to them and try to pull them out. A ghost would be a decent enough example. A woman dies in a certain way, she keeps reappearing in the same way just before her death because in her mind that's what she needs to do. You can't reason with her anymore, she doesn't have that kind of mind. So until the energy dissipates or someone helps her, that's where she will remain.
But nothing is permanent, it's not eternal, it's indefinite. Eventually, even after long eons, all of us return to the creator.

There have also been an enormous number of felonies that have been reduced to misdemeanors. In California where I live, more than half the felonies were reclassified as misdemeanors, and the "3 strikes rule" was also repealed so you get no sentence increase even if you commit hundreds of misdemeanors in the row.
So, it's a legislative issue. It's not because of decisions judges are making. These laws force their hand.

There's a reason the Founding Fathers despised plea deals and never made them part of our law. The officer to the right (old bald guy, aka, Coy Gilbert, aka, my dad) is the one who fired the lethal shot. The officer in the middle of the screen discharged his weapon but didn’t hit anything. I can see how he got that one wrong but in this video he says the guy shot the officer but his pewpew is obviously pointing in the opposite direction. It was friendly crossfire.

I live in Hansville too and I found out he lived a couple miles away from me and my boss’s wife is really good friends with the Old guy’s ex wife from 10 years ago.
