    Jed and if Tom is listening. Definitely you need a solid middle relief and closer. Belli is coming along I would keep for another 5 years. Busch is solid lefty bat . This team when healthy is definitely postseason caliber team . Need 1 more bat a really good lefty bat 😉

    Aside from bp help, the Cubs better find a legit slugger for this line up because that doesn’t currently exist on the current 40 man roster. …..and Jed, if the hitting stuff is “ fascinating” to you, then quit fielding this team with .220-.250 hitters.

    We have a slugger right now that the cubs don’t use and all of our past sluggers they never used correctly.

    Alzolay has NEVER been a closer. It took a year for teams to figure out Alzolay and now they're using him for batting practice/homerun derby. The best closers are the ones where everyone knows what's coming and you still can't hit it. Alzolay was never that.

    At some point Jed needs to
    Reassess his view of bullpen being so volitile. It doesn’t have to be that way, but has for years now

    Happ Sucks

    • @mastod0n1
      @mastod0n1 Před 8 dny

      Happ has had an OPS+ over 100 every year of his career until this year and we're not even in June yet. His OBP is still around where it has been throughout his career. Most of his batted ball metrics seem to be close enough to his historic numbers to say that he's just slumping a little and maybe slightly unlucky right now. If he gets on pace to another 20 HR season he'll be fine.

      @MaximusMerideus Před 3 dny

      @@mastod0n1 He's always been an average to below average player. Very below average for a 5 hole left fielder. On top of that, the man has always been a rally killer. People are just finally seeing it.
