Cochran Shoals & Scribner Cemetery

HERE WE GO!
It was a beautiful day in January. So I headed out to Cochran Shoals. I wanted to hike the Soap Creek Trail to see the Scribner Family Cemetery, that is in the middle of the woods. It was a perfect hike.

An article in the The Atlanta Journal 30 Jul 1988, Sat ·Page 58 "The quest: Dr. Daniel Scribner's (1822-1863) old homesite and family burial plot, lost for more than three decades and rediscovered five years ago." That's all it says
