  • If "not spicy" is still too spicy.
Welcome to the tropical paradise of Koh Phangan, Thailand! 🌴 While the island is renowned for the Full Moon Party, there's so much more to discover, from stunning nature and beautiful beaches to thrilling activities like diving, kite surfing, yoga, and retreats - not to mention the incredible local cuisine.
Join me as I guide you through my favorite spots on the island. This video skips the night markets, as there are already plenty of videos covering them. Instead, I'll lead you to lesser-known gems with amazing Thai food.
Be cautious at local spots, though-tourist restaurants often tone down the spice for foreigners, but in authentic places, even "not spicy" can be surprisingly hot. Don't worry; I've got you covered! If you're curious about the exact locations, drop a comment below.
To wrap up the day, I'll take you to my go-to sunset spot: Apichada Viewpoint bar! Enjoy a breathtaking view, soothing music, great company, and refreshing drinks. Chok dee krap! 🌅🍹 #KohPhangan #ThaiCuisine #TravelThailand
    Thanks for watching! 🤍

Great video! Can you share the locations of the restaurants please? We're in Koh Phangan now and looking for exactly that kind of local spots! :)

Mmmm, the locals need all the help they can get, so why not tell us the locations on the vlog for maximum exposure for their business 🤷‍♂️. There’s a beautiful Buddhist temple called Wat Ruese Pa Saeng Tham right next to the Chinese temple that’s also well worth checking out, very interesting structures in an amazing natural setting!

Thanks for your comment. If you like you can send me a pm on Instagram and I provid you with a list of the google maps locations, most of the shops has no website or internet presence, that's why tried to explain some locations directly in the video. I'm an absolutely beginner in this CZcams business, so I still need to practice and find out how to transport all the information the best way. The Buddhist temple sounds interesting. Thanks for the recommendation

Isan-style som tum usually doesn't have peanuts in it.

    • @streetfoodpete

In this video you see a tam taeng kwaa ( Thai cucumber salad) and not a som tam ( papaya salad) and the restaurant owner comes definitely from the Isan region so I think he knows how to do his salads 😉 ... anyway it was very delicious

@@streetfoodpete I live in Isan all my life, I’ve never had tam tang with peanuts. Ground peanuts is for noodles condiments. And it’s quite dangerous since Westerners tend to allergic to peanuts.
