There is gonna be a season three at some point or else it wouldn't have ended like that. We still didn't get to see what is gonna happen with Kamala, what's gonna happen with her mom and dr. Jackson. If Ben is still in love with Devi(probably) and what's gonna happen with him and Anessa. Most of all if Eleanor and Trent are gonna be a thing. Fingers crossed it gets renewed! Oh and whatever happening between Mr. Kulkarni and kamala.
Shows usually ends with cliffhangers IN CASE they get picked for another season, but there is no guarantee. But sure, there will most likely be a season 3 because it's a great show that many people love so they would be stupid not to pick it up :)

Kamala seriously can't make up her mind though. In season 1 she was with some guy and broke up with him just after seeing Prashant and now she doesn't want to settle for Prashant who's taking so much efforts to be with her just because she's getting attention from some other guy. She seems to have serious commitment issues.

btw I prefer paxton's character development, even tho he made some stupid decisions he got through them and matured, and when he got his trust broken by devi he worked his way to forgive her and held her hand, he made himself super deserving in the end, and I think he's great for her. he even grew to be more loving and caring, w the help of his grandpa and becca. overall he stopped being a stupid highschool jock figure and turned into a responsible, caring and honest guy, and he and devi can go far, if only she matures too, and stops thinking her life can be a highschool game, I hope she has genuine intentions with paxton cause if he gets his trust broken again i'm not gonna defend her ever again.

Everyone just sees Paxton as the hot guy and that Devi only wants him because of his popularity (which was her intention at first) but especially in this season it became clear that Paxton is a really good guy that just don't get any motivation from his friends and family. His character development was the best so far. I personally just don't like Ben. Yes what he did for Devi in Season 1 was very nice but he is just so self-centered and annoying. Its funny though because Season 2 Ben is actually Paxton in Season 1 and Paxton now is Ben Season 1, did they do this on purpose?

I mean sure Paxton ignored Devi a few times, but he was never down right mean and disrespectfull (except for that time she cheated on him) but Ben choose to stay petty and mad, then he’s sad that Paxton and Devi ended up together when he did nothing to mend their relationship until like the very end after he had another girlfriend.
Yes Ben was nice a few times and maybe they do have more in common. But Paxton has something with Devi that Ben doesn’t have and thats chemistry.

The majority of the fandom was team Ben after season 1, but they kinda ruined their chances when they introduced Aneesa and made her Ben's love interest. Now if they ever do get together, it will ruin Devi and Aneesa's friendship

When both hearts aligned towards each other, then another factor is timing. They put depth in Paxton's character in S2 like they did with Ben in S1. Gigi Hadid as Paxton's narrator is a fresh take. We see another layer and perspective that makes we relate with and root for them. Paxton putting effort while struggling with academics, not just a good face & body. Ben, a lonely rich boy who wants to be loved, attentive & care about Devi not just a silly nemesis.
Because Paxton said "they'll never work out" early on in EP. 3, ie. closed the door, Devi treats Paxton as a friend/tutee and try to get back with Ben while dealing with her jealousy towards Aneesa. She showed Paxton her true self, instead of pretentious/thirsty side in early S1. He was falling because Devi genuinely helped him grow to be a better person.
For now, I think the advantage weight balance leaned more on Paxton side, because he took action to acknowledge the relationship. They have come a long way to discover each other weaknesses and bad sides, and accepting them. Going public was a giant leap of faith for Paxton.

To be honest, I didn't like Devi with Paxton in S1, and Ben felt like the obvious choice bc of the banter. But thinking back, Paxton was never cruel to Devi, and Ben sort of always was. He called her psycho for her paralysis several times, even though he knew her dad had passed suddenly. Meanwhile, even though Devi used Paxton for popularity during the Davis trip, he kept her secret so she wouldn't be humiliated in public. So as of now, I definitely think Paxton is a better match than Ben. Plus, Ben is willing to cheat on any girlfriend for Devi, which isn't healthy. He tried to kiss her twice, and ended up making out with her in Malibu when he was dating Shira, and then in the S2 finale he wanted to dance with Devi and probably would have if Aneesa didn't show up at the right time. He only wanted Devi to make things right with Aneesa so she'd stay and he could date her. It's pretty selfish. I still really like Ben as a character and this is one of the first shows with two really great endgame options, but as of now, Paxton seems like a better guy, even though it's generally unlikely they'd want to go with the trope of the hottest guy in school ending up with the nerdy, unpopular girl.
Also, on an unrelated note, where does everyone stand on the Kamala debate? I can't quite tell if I ship her with Prashant or Manish
I shipped her with Prashant at the beginning of the season but Manish and her have a really goofy relationship so Idk...
I ship kamala with prashant bc we’ve seen so much of their relationship this whole show n their connection is adorable whereas she just met Manish they barely even know each other
I don’t think she’s going to end up with Prashant because even though they get along well, their core values don’t match.
Prashant basically told her she just has to play along and accept it when she’s get discriminated against by men in the workplace.
And he’s still kind of a momma’s boy, he lets his parents come over to finalise their marriage even though he hasn’t proposed himself and knows Kamala is not ready for marriage yet.
What Kamala really wants is freedom and the ability to live the way she wants, which she won’t get with him. Manish seems like a better option. Or Steve, but she obviously wasn’t all that into him.

I was team paxton always! So Let's get one thing straight. Paxton was never an egotist. As you all know he is not good at expressing himself and he has got such terrible friends, who judge him for no reason. That's the only reason why he treats devi poorly. But he took her to the hospital when that coyote bit her and he was there for her when she fell in the pool. Ben waited for Devi at Malibu, so did Paxton, at her house, he admitted that he was just being dumb! He likes devi a lot, but Devi herself is very confused and unstable. But now that they are together, I hope they stay like this in season 3 as well. Also not to mention Ben cheated on his girlfriend with devi and he was ready to cheat on aneesa when he almost asked devi to hangout with him at the dance. I have no hate for ben tbh.. but ben and devi as a Romantic couple, just doesn't make any sense to me!

Plus Paxton would’ve done all the things Ben has done, like if he gets to drive her to Malibu he would’ve waited too (this is basically what made Devi start to consider Ben as a bf in the first place), but Ben wouldn’t have done what Paxton did (like both the Coyote and pool incident). I know deep down they are both good boys, just that Paxton is more bf material and Ben can be a good friend.

S2 it showed Paxton was vulnerable and unlike ben who decided to be in a relationship with Aneesa after the breakup Paxton decided not to do that to avoid her getting hurt.....Paxton decided to become a better person and it was devi who led him to start studying

I like Paxton, but it's pretty clear that the show hasn't explored everything it wants to with her relationship with Ben. Paxton will be a good first boyfriend, but she's not over Ben and Ben isn't over her.

The fact that Ben is intimidated by Paxton, now that he has made the relationship public he won’t let Ben near her. Paxton is protective over his girls. Since Devi came into his life he’s made stupid choices (a lot of them, so has Devi she’s not far behind😂) yet he’s the one to pick her up and take her to the hospital, home, etc. Unlike Ben who got himself a whole other girlfriend yet lost interest when they lost because of her notes. Paxton calmed her anger is everyone forgetting this. Her anger gets in the way and Paxton told her to calm down that it was okay. That they can still slow dance 😂🤣 she calmed down realizing she almost exploded 🤯 also I will stop watching Ben and Devi are to alike. Opposites attract 🧐

Ben wanted Devi all of season two, but was so hurt by what happened because unlike Paxton, he was already in love with her: he was “all in.”

I dont think he wanted her at all, i agree that playful banter may indicate affection in kids, but he always went too far and it bordered on bullying. He did not even show the slightest sympathy towards her, when her dad died. It becomes clear that sometime during season 1 he develops feelings for her, but i dont think that their vicious banter indicates anything but him being competitive.

Also Paxton overall has such an attractive personality, I mean we got a Ben centric episode too but it was meh. Here Paxton's family background is so relatable. Devi pushing him to do better. Paxton's growth was so exquisite.
I hope this show turns out like other Netflix shows e.g. TATBILB with Paxton and Devi finding their way back to each other at the end of the series. I don't care who they date.
