    in this lessons there are so many Sanskrit and Pali words mixed with Thai Language. As Sri Lankan Sinhalese speaker we also use many Sanskrit and Pali words in day today life.
    It so similar word for biology "ViJa jeewawithaya" with sinhala word "Jeewawidyawa" wich is biology in Sinhalese. Those kind of similarities make easier to learn thai., not only that make interest.

    Good work.. I think you should make a video explaining the difference in the structure of phrases between English and Thai.
    For me it was the number one thing that confused me when I first tried to understand Thai.
    For example ... not using pronouns I, You, He she.. And using your name as third person ..

    • @jodydaily47
      @jodydaily47 Před 4 lety +1

      @@zachtonator9797 thank you for your reply. I know that royal dialect is a hard part, but what i want to learn are some new words that Thai often use when talking about the Royalty. For example, which word means " a prince", "a queen",.. Something like that

    • @zachtonator9797
      @zachtonator9797 Před 4 lety +1

      @@jodydaily47 Sure.
      *King : พระราชา (Pra raa cha) / กษัตริย์ (Kaa sad)*
      Nowadays, if they are talking about the current king or the kings of Ratanakosin timeline, they'll use the word..
      ร. + (The 1st/ the 2nd/ the 3rd..)
      Example : ร.9 (Ror gao) - The 9th king of Ratanakosin
      ร.5 (Ror haa) - The 5th king of Ratanakosin
      **REMEMBER, THIS FORM IS INFORMAL. TO BE INFORMAL, CALL THE KINGS BY THE NAME**
      For the other kings, we normally call the king by their name like...
      Example: พระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช -Phra jao tak sin ma ha raj (The king of Thonburi timeline)
      Some kings even have his own informal name like the one on top of me, his informal name is พระเจ้าตาก (Phra jao Tak)
      *Queen : พระราชินี (Phra ra chi nee)/ ราชินี (Ra chi nee)*
      *Prince : เจ้าชาย (Jao chaai)*
      *Princess : เจ้าหญิง (Jao ying)*
      All of the royals above me are often called by their name or related with the person they know in the royal family.
      In the case that you want to call their name by link to the person you know in the royal family, here's an example...
      Example : พระโอรสของ ร.9 (Phra oh rod khong ror gao)
      The son of the 9th king of Ratanakosin
      There are a lot more to know, but I'm tired and lazy so that's it.
