"Phom yaak mii itsa ra phaap".... This sentence these days in Thailand....
Awesome
in this lessons there are so many Sanskrit and Pali words mixed with Thai Language. As Sri Lankan Sinhalese speaker we also use many Sanskrit and Pali words in day today life.
It so similar word for biology "ViJa jeewawithaya" with sinhala word "Jeewawidyawa" wich is biology in Sinhalese. Those kind of similarities make easier to learn thai., not only that make interest.
Khob khun - Jay!
I like it
Good luck 🌠
I love
Good work.. I think you should make a video explaining the difference in the structure of phrases between English and Thai.
For me it was the number one thing that confused me when I first tried to understand Thai.
For example ... not using pronouns I, You, He she.. And using your name as third person ..
till 09.30 only headphone left side is working it is annoying , you should check sound >D
is chan for female and pom for male?
Welcome Thai women. I like it voice from you.
hostess....hos tess (like lotus)

Kun narak jang loey.

Hello Thaipod101, I'm interested in learning about Thai language about topic "Royalty". Could you make such a video, please. I really look fordward to it!
Do you mean the dialect that used to the royals? Woah, that's hard you know. As a Thai, I even fail at this topic.
@@zachtonator9797 thank you for your reply. I know that royal dialect is a hard part, but what i want to learn are some new words that Thai often use when talking about the Royalty. For example, which word means " a prince", "a queen",.. Something like that
@@jodydaily47 Sure.
*King : พระราชา (Pra raa cha) / กษัตริย์ (Kaa sad)*
Nowadays, if they are talking about the current king or the kings of Ratanakosin timeline, they'll use the word..
ร. + (The 1st/ the 2nd/ the 3rd..)
Example : ร.9 (Ror gao) - The 9th king of Ratanakosin
ร.5 (Ror haa) - The 5th king of Ratanakosin
**REMEMBER, THIS FORM IS INFORMAL. TO BE INFORMAL, CALL THE KINGS BY THE NAME**
For the other kings, we normally call the king by their name like...
Example: พระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช -Phra jao tak sin ma ha raj (The king of Thonburi timeline)
Some kings even have his own informal name like the one on top of me, his informal name is พระเจ้าตาก (Phra jao Tak)
*Queen : พระราชินี (Phra ra chi nee)/ ราชินี (Ra chi nee)*
*Prince : เจ้าชาย (Jao chaai)*
*Princess : เจ้าหญิง (Jao ying)*
All of the royals above me are often called by their name or related with the person they know in the royal family.
In the case that you want to call their name by link to the person you know in the royal family, here's an example...
Example : พระโอรสของ ร.9 (Phra oh rod khong ror gao)
The son of the 9th king of Ratanakosin
There are a lot more to know, but I'm tired and lazy so that's it.
She's cute
Yes she is
I like all of Jay's videos, but I hear "Laaeo" a lot in different contexts. Can someone please explain what this word means or how to use it correctly?
Examples: 16:30 , 18:30 , 20:55
I think its meaning is close to "already" but they use it a lot more often in different phrases.
1-100 Count
So the person who wrote he / she speaks Thai after 1 year, then that person should also be able to read and write to understand.
👍👏❤️🙏🌹
you are doing great job but you have to explain each word which comes in every sentence ..then only it is useful otherwise we need to rehearse your sentences
Khaao khaao (Thai people never say this)..... Thai people says.......khaao swaai (white Rice)
Sorry na khrap 🙏
Khop Khun khrap 🙏🙏🇹🇭
Thai buffalos are called water buffaloes.

whats the difference between “คุย” and “พูด”?
Definitions on Wiktionary:
คุย
1. to chat; to talk.
2. (informal) to boast; to talk big.
พูด
1. to speak.
คุย = two people talking , gossip , talk
พูด = Speech, pronunciation or what you say
this is for learning you speak a bit too fast for that
she speaks far too fast, need to slow down.
Beautiful teacher
