Yall really forgetting about Tropius in this argument. Tropius, while not being a particularly strong pokemon has the advantage of being a flying type, and wings to sustain themselves in the air. This Tropius has the moves Synthesis, Sunny Day, Protect, and Solar Beam. It can easily snipe the lions from a distance. But what about the PP dilemma? BEHOLD Tropius has the ability Harvest. Harvest has a 50% chance of restoring a berry every turn. With a leppa berry, tropius would regain 10 PP on whatever move runs out of PP first. At an average of 10 PP per 2 turns, Tropius would have the necessary PP to kill the lions until all moves run out of PP. At the best possible situation, each move should have 1 PP each and when a move is used, in this case Synthesis, the leppa berry is used. Then Tropius need to go 13 consecutive turns to lose all of its PP, which is a 0.01220703125% chance, or 1/8192, the base shiny odds for older pokemon games. It would then need to struggle for 5 turns, due to certain hp values leaving a pokemon at 1 hp after 4 turns, despite the move using 25% of your hp, which is 1/262144. Tropius surely has the odds against them, right? NO We are missing a key element in Tropius' strategy. Sunny Day. Sunny Day turns the 50% berry chance into an amazing 100% chance, ensuring that Tropius always has at least 1 PP at all times. This is proof that given time, Tropius WILL kill every single lion. As a bonus, Mew, Ditto, and Smeargle (via sketch) can transform into Tropius, creating 4 unstoppable beasts. To add onto the chaos, any pokemon that can get the move Skill Swap can take the ability from Tropius or another Harvest pokemon, Skill Swap again to a pokemon with the move Entrainment, and the Entrainment pokemon can then teach EVERY POKEMON the ability Harvest, giving every pokemon infinite PP.

OBJECTION! How big is this black hole you speak of? If it’s a centimeter the black hole would lose, since it would just diciest before anything happens. But! If you squash enough lions to form a black hole itself, and the lion black hole swallows the earth and more, The lionHole and The black hole would collide, it would create a stalemate! So if the lions turn into a black hole, they could theoretically swallow up all the Pokémon.
Taking a nap in the pokemon games restores hp and pp and all the water pokemon can sleep in the ocean were lions can't reach them, it would take a while but the pokemon are basically untouchable.
Speaking of taking a while, literally no ecosystem can sustain a billion lions. Most of them would be dead in like a week if they aren’t allowed cannibalism. I don’t think lion supporters realize how much a billion is.

It would just have to camp somewhere, which it can because it can fly, and while lions can stack it can create black holes that would shift the gravity, making them either fall into the black hole or into the ground, until it's night time and then every single lion would slowly die. Even if 1 turn is one hour in real life, lions sleep about 16-20 hours a day, meaning that they would all die after 1 night. And seeing as how this is Darkrais ability, it can be used eternally without ever losing effect. I'd even go as far as saying a single darkrai could beat a billion lions due to these factors. It just flies out of range and once something gets close it flies away, makes it fall asleep or creates a black hole. And once something falls asleep it just dies.
@@allingbrodniak8819 Calyrex would unironically be the MVP of the war. After all, as General Robert Barrow once said, "amateurs talk about strategy and tactics. I need not even mention that a population of one billion lions is not sustainable in the slightest.
Okay, so hypothetically speaking, even if we were to ignore weight, balance, and intelligence, and let the lions stack standing up on each other’s shoulders to attain the maximum possible height, that would allow them to reach a height of roughly 1.3 million miles (and that’s with some very generous assumptions on the lion’s behalf) from the bottom lion’s location. And since sufficient oxygen only goes up around 20,000 feet above sea level, this means that Edgeworth’s brilliant stacking plan would kill at LEAST (assuming they start at sea level) 99.9997% of the lions, meaning we’re left with less than 3,000 remaining. In addition, this wouldn’t even help the lions reach Deoxys. Again, they’re only managing to make it 1.3 million miles out, and (just for reference) Mars is 34 million miles away at its closest. Even if the lions could breathe in space and started at the top of Mt. Everest (30,000 feet above sea level), they’d still be out of luck. I wasted like, an hour of my life looking up and/or calculating this information.
Loins are probably around 60% water so if half them die the other lions get water to drink and you’d better believe the lions would also take water from the bodies of water Pokémon. So once Groudon comes back the lions will be repopulated and the Pokémon will not.

tms starting from gen 5 don't break tms can be found lying around on the wild some pokemon like calyrex have human level intelligence the pokemon could use tms on themselves to constantly learn new moves thereby negating the pp issue checkmate lions speaking of tms almost every pokemon can learn double team which makes them fast enough to move to create the illusion of multiple pokemon, even pokemon with 5 base speed like shuckle can do it lions cannot move fast enough to make afterimages pokemon are so much faster than lions there's no way they can catch up to them so lions cant just break the tms or something checkmate lions ^ 2
THESE are some very solid arguments for the pokemon's case, but ultimately i still don't believe that's enough for the pokemon to win; as of gen 8 a lot of tm moves have been retconned into one-use trs so that's now an issue, but if not that then there's the fact that the pokemon would likely not be able to infinitely fight on even with infinite pp. it stands to reason that no pokemon is capable of flying or staying unreachably high in the air /forever/ without ever coming down, after all, and considering the million-to-one odds it makes sense that eventually, EVENTUALLY every pokemon would get overwhelmed at some point lions win everytime LION BLOWOUT BABY

@@kirbymariomega The lions can't win no matter what, even if they were able to overpower the Pokemon, the ultra beasts, Soleago, Lunala and Necrozma can all just dip to an alternate dimension, a stalemate is the best case scenario for the lions, and spread moves hit every enemy, regardless of how many there are, which means most pokemon would take out a ton of lions with surf or earthquake, and even ignoring the pokedex and anime, we know that even tiny little pokemon can use continental crush, which means they are way physically stronger than the lions so the lions are weaker, slower, and likely have less defense than even the slowest, weakest, and the worst defended pokemon are stronger than a lion, so it's likely that a single surf, even if we don't go through that weird helping hand process, would probably take out every lion

Explosion and Self Destruct would also kill the Pokémon. There’s a billion lions. For a suicidal Pokémon to gain any value, it would need to kill over a million lions in its last hurrah to break even. Remember, a billion lions take up hundreds of square miles, it’s impossible to hit them all at once. And a Pokémon could have all the defense in the world, but that wouldn’t protect it from hundreds of thousands of lions piling on top of it. Even if it somehow weren’t crushed under the immense weight of the lions (280 pounds for females, 420 for males) it would still suffocate
@@Liverator yeah i gotta respect that, it is 1 billion so an explosion probably wouldn't be worth what it takes out, however i still think that if a pokemon were to boost its stats the highest the multiplier goes is up to x4, if a pokemon were to boost all its stats (or bunch of different pokemon with stat boosting moves) then use baton pass to give those stats to the strongest fighters they have so basically all the legendaries. take for example zacian, if he were to have the highest possible attack stat due to nature, EVs and IVs, with the baton pass his attack goes from around 480 to 1900, same applies to other stats, also i would imagine speed would be an issue for the lions so regieleki without items would get up to a 2200 speed stat. i know you said that they would be crushed and all so the defense wouldn't help out but with steelix's size, and if megas are fair game then not only does it grow but its defense gets even greater.
If we're talking about PP, the Harvest ability allows you to always reuse a Berry if there's harsh sunlight. Equip everyone with Leppa Berries, use Role Play and Entrainment to spread Harvest to as many Pokemon as possible, activate harsh sunlight, and boom, infinite PP. If we're talking about HP, we can use Roar on Ho-oh to get it out of the battlefield, then have it use Sacred Ash over and over to continuously full heal everyone. Even if you call bullshit on that, Heal Pulse and other healing moves allow them to undo any damage the lions can do. If we're talking about sleep, Uproar can be used to continuously keep Pokemon awake, this preventing any side from gaining sleep advantage. If we're talking about hunger, the Pokemon get to eat their Leppa Berries indefinitely, while the lions have no such guaranteed food source. For damage, use Poison Gas to poison all opposing lions (lowering the opponent's evasiveness with Sweet Scent), while using Venoshock to speed up the battle. The poison damage will kill all opposing lions in a finite amount of turns, since they have no way of healing (even with the assumption that they have access to Pecha Berries, one Pokemon just needs to use Embargo to stop it.).

The lions fall in and get stuck in space, unable to breath the lions die. Since these pokemon don’t need to use moves to open the portals and don’t use PP they can do it forever. The legendary Pokémon are also immortal so they just tell all the regular pokemon to back up and keep opening portals until all the lions eventually die
Let's not forget moltres according to the pokedex entry moltres CA scatter embers with every flap of its wings moltres can just fly around the lions burning them
Why pokemon will win no matter what 1. Marcargo. 2. Gardevoir can make fucking black holes and apparently some pokemon can run from it like Palkia the god of space or Dialga the god of time or Arceus the literal fucking god. 3. Ghost pokemon aren't affected by lion's attacks. 4. Stat boosts, although weak pokemons can't win against the lions, they can blind, reduce speed, attack,... and buff their side easily thus making the weaker ones be able to take on more lions. 5. Anime logic, there's no anime about lions fighting are there... actually there might be so this point is not that valid. 6. Dynamax, yes it lasts 3 turns but what if we just don't use moves for the last turn and just go around smushing everything. 7. Entei can bark. 8. Dynamaxed fucking Marcargo. 9. Ultra beasts can enter other dimensions. 10. Z-move fucking Marcargo. 11. Victiny always wins. 12. Yvelta literally can kill and go into a cocoon to not die and then kill again. 13. Mind Control is a valid move and many can even mind controolo without learning the move such as Mewtwo. 14. Fucking Marcargo 15. A lot of ice types can create hail which uhh is raining ice rocks from the sky. 16. Wobuffet can reflect stuff, so can Wynaut. 17. Please read 14. 18. Get off the fucking continent so regina's can move the continent causing a lot of chaos and killing a lot of lions. 19. When pokemon loses that if they do but they won't, tell Dialga to uhh snap it's fingers and whooooosh we're back. 20. Marcar fucking go
Some good points but magcargo is weak. It is hot enough to kill lions that come into contact but if a lion chomps through the shell then it’s one lion for one Pokémon.
I always thought the lion pyramid/tower was a dumb idea bc there are tons of ways the pokemon could get around it 1. Lugia or any strong flying type could use hurricane and topple it 2. Psychic pokemon could use the move telekinesis to raise the lions in the air and telekinesis makes the lions easier to hit 3. AOE moves like waterspout, surf, earthquake could knock the lions over 4. A particularly brave pokemon could use a recoil move like flare blitz or headcharge and run into the lion tower/pyramid, toppling it over 5. A big pokemon like Wailord, Ultra Necrozma, or Eternatus could just... push the lion tower over Or my favorite idea, which could easily be planned out with help of a super intelligent pokemon like Alakazam, Mewtwo, or Metagross: Shedninja, Smeargle (with Hone claws), and any pokemon with skill swap team up. Pokemon with skill swap uses it on shedninja to give itself Wonder Guard. Then it uses it again to give Wonder Guard to Smeargle. Smeargle goes to a pokemon with any OHKO move and sketches it, for this example we’ll use fissure because it’s the most environmentally destructive Smeargle learns fissure, and then starts spamming Hone Claws. Since lion pokemon are regular animals, ALL their moves would be normal type. They couldn’t hurt Smeargle due to Wonder Guard. So smeargle uses Hone claws until its accuracy is at the max and then starts using fissure until either all the lions die or the pyramid falls over

BEHOLD
Tropius has the ability Harvest.
NO
We are missing a key element in Tropius' strategy.
What is a lion gonna do to any steel/rock/ ghost mon, not to mention the legendaries of those types.

I want to bet that I've watched this video more times than anyone in the world other than maybe the person who made it.
Honestly that’s fair with how much I’ve seen you in this comment section
@@egg_dealer I'm thinking about compiling all of my pro-lion arguments into a sort of manifesto
I wasted like, an hour of my life looking up and/or calculating this information.
groudon dries up earth then goes back to slee for a hundred years, comes back and all of the lions die of dehydration. easy clap.
Loins are probably around 60% water so if half them die the other lions get water to drink and you’d better believe the lions would also take water from the bodies of water Pokémon.
So once Groudon comes back the lions will be repopulated and the Pokémon will not.
@@luciowins9946How....How will 1 billion lions repopulate there is not enough food, which lions are we talking about male female or mixed???? If that exist pokemon can repopulate as well? I am not a big fan of pokemon but this argument seems fun
@@ariandubi the lions are almost definitely mixed so they can repopulate. However there is only one of each Pokémon and ditto prioritizes transforming into an enemy so the ditto would become a lion (which loses against multiple lions).
So the lion army can repopulate forever, although if the Pokémon are hiding waiting for the lions to die then they probably forfeit the fight.
@@luciowins9946 it’s not a forfeit if you run away and out live your enemy. that’s called a battle of attrition and it’s a military tactic.
also, bigger question, how do the lions damage the pokemon that are made of literal rocks and metal? i know lions have strong jaws but idk if 1 million lions could go through more than the aron line and a steelix and that’s me being super generous cuz i actually haven’t looked into this at all. steelix is canonically made of steel and the aron line are canonically made of iron so i would assume it would be difficult for any metal or rock pokemon to be damaged by a lion.
therefore, the most defensive and hard to kill pokemon will outlive the lions in combat, thus allowing the god pokemon to control the environment in such a way that water is dried up and food sources become scarcer.
a decent chunk of pokemon are capable of regeneration so it would be hard for lions to damage them until they run out of pp, and in THAT particular case the pokemon with the pickup ability could find leppa berries. the rules of this argument are too vague to determine the last notes viability, so take it as you will.
dynamax and gigantimax pokemon occur naturally in the wild of galar, which last indefinitely in game / until defeated. these pokemon could simply step on the lions to kill them.
a pokemon like darkrai could put all the lions to sleep and the pokemon could easily kill all of the lions.
@@brink7894 It’s a fight not a war so I don’t think running away counts as winning.
The rock and metal Pokémon may be tougher than the lions bites but they wouldn’t be able to handle 1 million bites.
Kyogre and groudon would not let either one flood/drain the world.
If the Pokémon got all the lions to sleep they would win but I’m not sure there are any sleep moves that can target millions.
the Lion stans were trying to use the argument that Lions would win a battle of attrition, however Darkrai’s ability Bad Dreams would make the Lions literally unable to sleep without having horrific nightmares that drain their health. Meaning Darkrai singlehandedly wins the battle of attrition without even using any of its PP

Even a lot of evolved starters are insanely strong, Mega Sceptile, Mega Charizard X and Y, Mega Venusaur.
That is just forgetting about some of the pokemon mentioned in the video, arceus, dialga, etc.

If there's One of every Pokémon then there's G O D
tms starting from gen 5 don't break
tms can be found lying around on the wild
some pokemon like calyrex have human level intelligence
the pokemon could use tms on themselves to constantly learn new moves thereby negating the pp issue
checkmate lions
speaking of tms almost every pokemon can learn double team which makes them fast enough to move to create the illusion of multiple pokemon, even pokemon with 5 base speed like shuckle can do it
lions cannot move fast enough to make afterimages
pokemon are so much faster than lions there's no way they can catch up to them
so lions cant just break the tms or something
checkmate lions ^ 2
THESE are some very solid arguments for the pokemon's case, but ultimately i still don't believe that's enough for the pokemon to win; as of gen 8 a lot of tm moves have been retconned into one-use trs so that's now an issue, but if not that then there's the fact that the pokemon would likely not be able to infinitely fight on even with infinite pp. it stands to reason that no pokemon is capable of flying or staying unreachably high in the air /forever/ without ever coming down, after all, and considering the million-to-one odds it makes sense that eventually, EVENTUALLY every pokemon would get overwhelmed at some point
lions win everytime LION BLOWOUT BABY
@@kirbymariomega how does a lion kill a pokemon made of steel or an even harder fanasty metal
@@jackkemble566 They don't have a real argument so they force the pokemon to use pp and struggle because they can't comprehend that some pokemon are immortal undying beings with no need for food water or air and can litleraly outlast them to the end of the planet. The only way the lions have a chance is if you use game mechanic logic and there are ways around that like a porygone z floating with discharge leppa berry and recycle so it has endless aoe so there.
@@kirbymariomega When used on 2 or more enemies a spread move hill have its power reduced by 25%, _regardless_ of the number of enemies (so using for example Earthquake to hit 2 enemies will deal as much damage to each individual one as doing it to hit 5 would). So, all you need to do is have a single Pokémon use a spread move that's strong enough to kill a single lion (or rather "133.333...% of a single lion") which is easily achievable through the use of supporting moves or abilities such as Helping Hand and Power Spot.
swear i seen nobody talk about abilities, genetically bred pokemon for optimal IVs, training them for EVs, range of held items, z-moves, pokemon with massive defense, stat boosting moves, also the fact explosion and self-destruct exist just fucking nuke the lions, pokemon got it easy

3. AOE moves like waterspout, surf, earthquake could knock the lions over
4. A particularly brave pokemon could use a recoil move like flare blitz or headcharge and run into the lion tower/pyramid, toppling it over
5. A big pokemon like Wailord, Ultra Necrozma, or Eternatus could just... push the lion tower over
Or my favorite idea, which could easily be planned out with help of a super intelligent pokemon like Alakazam, Mewtwo, or Metagross:
Shedninja, Smeargle (with Hone claws), and any pokemon with skill swap team up. Pokemon with skill swap uses it on shedninja to give itself Wonder Guard. Then it uses it again to give Wonder Guard to Smeargle.
Smeargle goes to a pokemon with any OHKO move and sketches it, for this example we’ll use fissure because it’s the most environmentally destructive
Smeargle learns fissure, and then starts spamming Hone Claws. Since lion pokemon are regular animals, ALL their moves would be normal type. They couldn’t hurt Smeargle due to Wonder Guard.
So smeargle uses Hone claws until its accuracy is at the max and then starts using fissure until either all the lions die or the pyramid falls over
What i thought was really sumb about it was that it was made to counter flying pokemon but reyquaza arceus ect live in space where lions cant breathe
