- Our live cover of "Mauville/Rustboro/Mossdeep City" from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, originally composed by Go Ichinose. This arrangement by Patrick Bartley.
This song has got to be on my (Pat) top 3 favorite Pokemon songs of all time. This has a sentimental place in my heart, being that Sapphire was my first Pokemon (at age 17, yep. Go ahead and comment), but that's not even the reason why I think it's so great. This song is so perfectly composed that it totally works outside of the game as its own tune, and no one would know it's from a game. This song has also been performed for the United Nations (infiltration complete)! Everything about this song is beautiful, and the feeling it creates is truly unmatched by anything but the great works from artists like Antonio Carlos Jobim. Being that this was among the first few songs ever arranged for the Pocket Band, this one has become somewhat of a standard for us, meaning we're now able to get to all sorts of things on this by now. You can enjoy some nice solos from everyone in the band before we take it out!

You guys really brought out the personality of this song. That accordion adds the perfect seaside flavor that i think the original composers imagined this town should sound like, but were limited to bring out in vgm.

Pokemon Emerald version was the first pokemon game I played as a kid and the Mauville City / Rustboro City theme was always my favorite and I still find myself humming it today. This is such an incredible rendition, and I can't express how much this made my day.

Mauville City was my favorite thanks to the convenience of having Route 117 & the Day Care right next door. Made for easing egg hatching. Incredible job once again.
