21:45 - about Daft Punk
RIP Daft Punk (1993-2021)
Took me 10 years to come around and appreciate this guy. I appreciate what he’s done for the community.
So happy to see & hear David guetta speak his heart out
BLABLABLA. Boring and not the funny guy you think.
David Guetta is a legend
This is incredible. Thank you for interviewing THE🐐, DAVID GUETTA!!
Davig Guetta has always been labeled as cringe and I can't really figure out why? He devoted his life to music and caused some major shifts in electronic music as a whole. This man is a maverick
Suffering from success I guess
It’s because he’s popular. Always going to have haters. Guetta? I’ve always heard is one of the most humble and nice people in the industry. I may not like all his tracks, but he is a pioneer of electronic music.
Its a telling sign when you ask these people who label him cringe what songs do they know guetta by? Odds are they'll give you something 2010+ If you dont know about him in the early 2000's you might've just learned about Guetta way way after he became successful. By the time love dont let me go released he was already big and popular in the ibiza club scene.
@@skillfulgoose101 I was 14 when his "just a little more love" came out. Maybe that's why
David talking about his journey and the path of electronic music is something spectacular.
I still remember when I was 7 years old and I listened for the first time love is gone, in that moment I fell in love with electronic music.
So great to hear from such a generational talent. I’m not a fan of the commercial edm sound I like more underground but can appreciate what David believes in and is doing. This guy knows what he believes in and always has pivoted to his roots. So nice to hear his story and has made me gain more respect for him and his decisions as an artist.
So crazy to see how he was killing it in Ibiza even before his debut album in 2002. Guy is a legend.
Thank you France for David Guetta and Daft Punk
🐐guetta
Yeah, David has been a role model of mine since i was young. Hes a original inspiration
thank you for sharing that journey, amazing!
Amazing!!! David Guetta🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
David was my first big inspiration to jump in into the music industry and listen to his history is always inspiring. He stills a very good story-teller! 😄
What a great full talk on his whole journey. So interesting!!!
Wow❤❤❤
What an inspiration!
Nice processing and eq on the mics. I like it 😊
Love from Oslo! :)!
Excellent interview ❤
GREAT INTERVIEW!! Very nostalgic to hear from on David Guetta! He was my gateway to house music back in ‘05
He is a great example of what you can accomplish with hard work and passion. Well Done David!
La mejor entrevista que le han hecho a David Guetta! Sin duda 🔝👏👏👏
Love these interviews MistaJam! Keep them coming 👍🏼
Best Dj in the World!!!Thank you for Interview 👏👏👏👏👏👋👌🎉💥🎶
Brilliant Interview 👏. Love how excited David is during the show. David is a lovely guy, Got a few minutes with him in 2023 at Belfast Ireland and he has wonderful aura about his. Wow
Tiesto and Sasha were really the first DJs to elevate the dj dance phenomenon. Sure house started in New York and techno in USA arguably but guys like Sasha and Tiesto took the dj status and image higher heights and became global phenomenon. The godfathers were a very integral part as well.
Techno started in Germany with Kraftwerk but I pretty much agree with the rest of what you said yes Sasha was likely the first "rockstar" DJ along with Carl Cox of the rave scene here in the UK and then you had clout chasers like Fatboy Slim making it more commercial and jumping on that bandwagon with some great early productions from him and then Tiesto made it even bigger across northern Europe with the trance scene that was huge at the time David Guetta as much as I hate him has made EDM global with his sell-out productions and cross overs with mainstream pop artists one thing I will thank him for is making events and festivals bigger but I will never get into the EDM scene it's just too cheesy and commercial for me.
@@RandomnessTube. Superstar DJ was already legit because of Sasha and Tiesto David Guetta just combined popular dance music with EDM electronic dance music and fused them together. He Garner both fan bases but dance music was already global lol
@@renechang2406 It was global but not commercial.
The promotions were bigger than the dj to begin with. Nights like Fantazia, DreamsCape, Helter-skelter, Ministry Of Sound, Miss Moneypennys, Trade, Cream, Gatecrasher, Manumission, We Love Space on Sundays, Golden... etc
Then the DJs became bigger than the promotion.
Which is a great Shame. I agree Sasha & Tiesto took the ball and ran with it, but shout out to the djs that came before them.
Dj Vibes, Slipmatt, Jeremy Healey, Allister Whitehead, Stu Allen, Danny Rampling, Alfredo, Jose Padillla, Tony De Vit, Paul Oakenfold, John Kelly...
What a time to be alive
Best to ever do it 🐐
It's amazing to be able to break through to the top of the electronic music industry and it's even more remarkable to be able to stay there a decade after decade. Seems to me David is an expert in continuous innovation, which gives him sustained competitive edge. Entertaining and inspiring interview, thank you!
Goat ❤
❤❤❤❤
Interesting to hear it from David's perspective. I also remember watching Ultra, etc. shows on youtube around the time when Bad was released and I was like bruh, why is everyone so obsessed with Guetta when his sets suck so much. But after years I must say I admire him a way more. Also Future Rave, an amazing invention.
HOUSE MUSIC FOREVER :D
👑
Fun Fact: David Guetta and MistaJam Both Worked Together On "If You Really Love Me (How Will I Know)" With Featuring Vocals From John Newman Back In June 2021
🐐
First saw Guetta at The Redlight Sankeys Soap. House was so good back then, as were the crowd. Don't be fooled by his success his roots are firmly with the underground. Great career
Basically, back in the day about 2008 I was a huge trance ( Armin) fan. Then I loved the song "Love dont let me go" one of my fav songs to DJ. then I hated the time period Guetta was on the regular pop charts. It just didn't wasn't for to me. Even Titanium which I actually liked but consider as regular top 40 song. Then the remix David Guetta & MORTEN Future Rave Remix came out then I went like Damnnnnnnn. it got that trance progressive touch. Now I consider as one of my fevs
35:33 crazy really, this moment was the death of edm
So glad he acknowledged the fact that EDM was terrible at a certain stage and everybody sounded the same. And his frustration made him change his direction. Maybe I will like him after all 😂
Mistajam X Jack Back collab 👀
26:50 - about Swedish House Mafia
Just a little more love walky lopez remix is my shit
Idk…❤😂
