- A few days ago we met Chim, a Filipina originally from Siargao but working in Saudi. Now stranded here on her family visit, she invited us to go island hopping on her brothers fishing boat. Little did we know we were going to get the DREAM PHILIPPINES TOUR.
Our little British Family came to Siargao pretty clueless as to what there was to see and do here. We missed out on one of the most famous island tours because of the lockdown, so Chim treated us to the VIP version of it. All 3 Islands, Daku, Naked & Guyam but with almost Zero other tourists. It was AMAZING!
In fact we must have said the word amazing 50 times on this day. Story was swimming in the warm sea from the minute we arrived and we had the biggest smiles on our faces all day.
This time we have spent in Siargao has shown us how lovely Filipino people are, the generosity and care that we have experienced here is unrivaled anywhere else on earth. We actually feel loved, and so welcomed. It is heartwarming.
HUGE Thanks to Chim and her family for taking care of us, transporting us, cooking for us and showing us an experience that not many people on earth have had the opportunity to enjoy for a great many years.

My Gosh, when gods sprinkled beauty in the world, Philippines got most of the paradise.
Our islands are shaped like these due to various calamities. Volcano eruptions, tsunamis, earthquakes and storms. This is what you get from it haha
True! But the tears from all the calamities we recieved from mother earth it's like, too much. But despite it all we still have this beautiful country surrounded by beautiful,resilient,caring and most hospitable people in the world. When the dust is over "Everyone is invited to come and visit our beautiful country" Philippines! When
sadly, they slap a Mc Donalds in El Nido and a Citi Mall in Boracay. They made Boracay and El Nido look like every other small town or village in Manila. Even Siquijor is being ruined every year.
Siargao is the best place on earth
Life's lesson: Take the positives out of the negative situation..

All my life I've been imagining what a real paradise looks like. And I realized now that I've been living in it since I was born. Amazing country I have.
Miss Chim, in my ipinion, is a classic representation of Filipino hospitality. ❤️
I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. It was agape with awe and major envy! We're living vicariously through you! I don't know when we'll get to play in clear, warm waters like that again. And to experience it without tourists! That's not something everyone will get to experience even if they do visit those islands in the future! It's so humbling to be in such a beautiful setting. That world is so different than the chaos and madness that's taking place in "civilized" countries today. (The irony of that word). It's great to take a break and experience zen through your vlogs. What if the world went back to basics and simplicity? It would feel something like this.

Since lockdown started i've been following this families, and amazed how they handle daily the pandemic,especially the little cutie girl..that's the time i did baptized her "Moana" of the Philippines💖💕💓
Philippines has a lot of island like this and we are just so lucky...
I have been to 40 provinces, but only been to 12 islands, meaning those tiny little paradise like Siquijor, Cuyo, Balesin, and Malapascua.
Story is so excited to go for a swim when she sees the clear water. The island is such a paradise.😊

You're so lucky to have the island all for yourself. Not many can claim that you had that experience.
One unfortunate thing led to a very good one. How the COVID19 has that effect. You are truly blessed that you got stuck in that island than anywhere else. However, we don't know how you will cope if you were stuck elsewhere. I am sure you'll be able to turn things around just like what you did in Siargao.

Don't need to use mask if you're outside especially on the sea area. It's a healthy place. The sea breeze is good for the health. I've been there 3 yrs ago..beautiful island.
