Thanks this helped me a lot my button to engage the quick shot went haywire so I just removed the plastic green cover for it now it’s working fine without the green push cover.

So the cause of the leak, when using the upholstery tool, is this plastic elbow breaks?
Mine has leaked from the first time I used the tool.
I was thinking maybe i was supposed to have the tray under the machine while using the upholstery tool, but I tried that yesterday, and it just overflows the tray as well.

@monroevacsupplies working great don't know why removing the brushes made the water flow? I think a problem is to not use a powder soap like oxiclean I use my own solution for soap laundry detergent fabric softener hydrogen peroxide I use my Bissell a lot!!

The button on the cable to inject the water is loose. Is this part of this problem or another problem?
Appreciate your videos. As soon as I attach my clean water tank on the pet pro, within a minute the water will start leaking from the very bottom of the machine from one of the tiny holes, even if the machine is completely off and the trigger is not pressed. Within a few minutes the carpet will completely soak underneath. After opening the machine, I noticed the water is all coming from the pump where the white thing is attached. Not sure if that is normal, if the pump is the culprit, or if it is further upstream. Do you have any specific video for that issue? Had a tough time finding it.

What do you mean by film on that piece? Couldn’t you just plug that hole of your not using hose attachment?

Just had this issue and returned it and didn't know if I even wanted to get a new one. It's bubbling out the connection where you put the upholstery hose. Tank emptied onto my floor in seconds.
Did you find a fix for this? Mine has just started doing this
Hi Monroe I have pet Revolution version, my motor spins but when it hits the ground it stops spinning. At first it start spinning then stops.
But when I take the parts out and see it seems strong just when it’s all together it stops.
I changed the all the belt new brush, it spins well and seems strong.
Not sure, if it’s the rust, now I have to take it all out to see.
Just had to take mine apart because it was pouring out of the coiled pipe under the unit, after much disassembly, I wrapped both the end of the pipe with PTFE tape and reassembled it and it seems ok

I have this model and my issue is the quick shot button went down and now will not come back up. I've gotten it down to the casing and I've looked at the black and white trigger button but I cannot figure out what's going on! It's been weeks I am about to cry I'm so frustrated!

Hi, subscribed and watch a few videos but can't seem to find what's up with my Bissel Revoltion.. I have the issue as soon as I put the water tank on it just starts dripping out the bottom... like behind the brushes out a few square holes... tilt it back more and it will drip below the square holes and out that round molded area, by the hose, out of them 2 holes.... I suppose I'll just start taking it all apart. Any advice will help, thanks! Good channel!

@@monroevac there is a small white cylinder with hose connections at the bottom, some kind of diaphragm in it, the cap broke loose on it.. so glued it back down, havent had a chance to see if that was it but there was water just coming out as soon as i inserted the water bucket up top.
@monroevac hey, just wanted to tell ya that was my issue. What ever that little white cylinder is up front, infront of the brushes is, with 1 hose going in and 2 going out, the top had broke or popped off. So just sealed it back up and put it all back together, no more leaking
Question- in replacing this part, and going through this whole process, what prevents this from happening again? This taking apart process seems extremely complicated ☹️

As of this moment I don’t have a bypass option for the Bissell pump connection
How old is this machine? I am desperately looking for one myself. I always uses the other popular brand , but after my last one lasted one Christmas to the next , I no longer wants to take the risk. So I’m leaning towards Bissell.

Mine was brand new and leaked all over the floor like this. New out of the box. Looked on the reviews and found hundreds of people that had the same issue out of the box.
@whitneyr2645 I recommend calling Bissell customer service. Don't have anyone work on it except Bissell service center (Don't void warranty)

How the hell do you get the main drum open? My wife ran over the god damn power cord and Bissell doesn't have a damn "Certified Service Center" anywhere near me.

Mine is leaking through the other side, the part that goes to the floor. Do you have a video on that?
Sorry for the delay-somehow I missed this One. When you say the other side are you referring to the back or on the right or left of the unit
@@monroevac Left side, opposite the hose connection. Sometimes if I squeeze the trigger on the main handle a few times it'll stop.
If you want to try: remove the cover so you can see exactly what part is leaking. Possibly the pump. Check my Bissell playlist. Should have a video showing you how.

@@monroevac I found one on Amazon. I hope it's the right one. Bissell didn't help because they didn't even have one and my cleaner is still under warranty! I live in WV and he said the nearest repair shop was in NC, which is to far for me. Bissell didn't even have the pump so needless to say I was a little irritated 😒. Thanks for your wonderful video. I will be using it to do my own repairs. Say a prayer 🙏. 😂

Mine cost $500+ in Australia. Ridiculous given 99% of machine is plastic & design is dodgy as mine started leaking from pretty much the beginning - similar to most comments on your posts for bissell. They should not be selling these machines like this 😠
Im not sure how the warranty work in Australia but if you just purchased a few months ago you should call Bissell

My wheel fell off. The "plastic pin" is broke. Regular bissell pet. Not a pro. Model #1548
I am not getting a Spray. Can you help me pls
First inspect the tank and make sure it's not warped. Second thing is to check the max slider on the side and make sure it's set to max. Third if still no spray check the trigger and see if it has resistance. If no resistance then replace the handle

Total POS. Had this thing for 5 months and it’s leaking. Thing is, I replaced a Hoover that burned up after a year and a half. For the price I paid for two of these, I could have just purchased a rug doctor. No more consumer grade steam cleaner for me, as they are pure junk.
