Everyone knows those big bosses some NES games used to feature, but did you know developers had to use special techniques to create them? This tutorial series will go through some of the common tricks and how to use them in NES Maker.
We start with basic things like moving background tiles on the screen while locking player position so it doesn't change with the camera. Ultimately we will create a boss similar to the big rat on the thumbnail image.
Series has no schedule, but I will release new episodes when I have some spare time to make them. Be sure to subscribe and put notifications on so you will get into new episodes right after they have been uploaded to CZcams.

Looking forward to part 2! You've already taught me a new way to draw sprites that I didn't know before, so thanks!

Cool! It's great to hear I managed to teach you something new. 👍 Script for part 2 is ready and I assume I'll be able to record the tutorial next week.
