Well if you check the history of music, it was never done for entertainment. Originally in every aboriginal culture it is a respected way of expressing spiritual devotion. That you can call prayer but now in mainstream this is for entertainment and it is toxic 99% of them. Most of them use 440hz which is very harmful for brain.

I think the main problem is that music generally has a huge effect on you. It affects you emotionally, it can change your mood etc. It can actually be manipulative in some way.
For example, if soft and generally nice music is played in stores, customers tend to hang around for longer and spend more of their money. And then the opposite for loud music, customers tend to hang around for less time.
People don’t realise, but music has huge effects on an individual. It is quite fascinating.

Music is a beautiful art that is in invented by humans to connect. Music has the power to unite people all around the world and can spread love & peace. An intelligent human being doesn’t get affected by these things.

@@reddead6842 "An intelligent human being doesn't get affected by these things"
That is completely not true, you do get affected, but don't even realise it. There's many scientific studies done on this. Different types of music have different effects on the brain, you can even start thinking differently!
There's many studies done on this, you can look some of them up. The one I used as an example in my original comment is one of them.
I'm also not saying that music makes people evil. I said that the problem with it is that it generally has a huge effect on you. That is the problem in itself.
Like, military songs and instruments that were used on battlefields many decades or centuries ago weren't there just for show, they were there to boost the morale of soldiers and make them more "battle ready".

I disagree. The problem is that some humans are trying to make some bunch of laws in a free society that are beneficial to them and impose them on others and that is against the idea of freedom. If you want to live in an environment where laws are strict than you should live in a state with strictly laws. If you are against the idea of the total freedom in all its forms then you should not live in a free society. Music should not be labeled as evil.

    • @iprohoodini7889
      @iprohoodini7889 Před rokem +15

@@reddead6842 no society at all are free anyways, there’s always restriction, but that restriction differs on where you are. Freedom doesn’t mean you’re better either. According to that pattern of thinking, an anarchist state would be better than any other.
And again, I never said music is evil 😑, I’m saying (yet again) that music has a big effect on an individual. And that can cause people to act differently than they usually would. The individual may not notice it, but this is a scientifically proven fact.
When I say this, the fact that it CAN alter some things about an individual, is the reason it is considered as haram by many muslims.
There’s obviously some music that may be considered as good aswell, and some as bad.
But the problem in islam is that music in itself has a big effect on an individual, whether it is good or bad. That effect the music causes is haram in itself.

I've experienced this personally. Was too addicted to listening to music to the point that I'd be on my headphones the majority of the hours in a day. I'd listen to it since the moment I wak up to late at night before bed. It also hurts so much when you link a particular song with a memory with someone or somewhere and it's now out of your hands (impossible) to see that someone or to visit that place. In that case, hearing even a short few seconds of that particular song will literally set a fire in your chest. Making your yearning for that person, even worse. Alhamdulillah for finally being able to live 100% music free. It's absolutely liberating. You start to connect with nature and engage better in your surroundings. You focus and actually try to face your problems instead of distracting yourself by music. I found living in a muslim majority country helpful. Unlike when I was living in a Western country where you barely walk few steps without hearing music in the background. Also make sure you have friends and family who are supportive of your decision and respect your choices. Allah Taala guide us all towards Him, and make us steadfast, where no one and nothing can lead us astray. Ameen.

Music is indeed haram, it is the very embodiment of what you could call “taste”, this idea that we should choose according to our preference of worldly items.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED, music is haram, it affects your heartbeat, clouds and obfuscates your mind. It will feel good just like drugs do, it is not injected or ingested as drugs are, but make no mistake akhi.
Even the World Health Organization conceded that music should be listened to for around 2 hours a DAY. It can literally damage your ears to sleep to music or listen to it for hours. Do not waste your money on such a hedonistic objective, this idea that we can “control”, tame or purchase sound.

Regards to the aqeedah of music
I truly believe this is the correct interpretation and assessment of wether music is in simple terminology, “good”, or “bad”.
Only ignorance would suggest that there isn’t a primordial rhythmn that permeates and structures the cosmos. String theorists themselves attribute their understanding to a musicological narrative. As if harmony and music; simply put, is what manifests shapes and forms and structures in the fabric of this universe, in the form of vibration. Harmonic vibration is music subjective to the ear that listens to it. The music of the birds is music to those that love birds. The flowing waves resemble the conductor’s baton, flowing in the air as they conducy an orchestra.
Sometimes it flows, sometimes it crashes.
The entire existence in front of your eyes, plays a divine symphony, EVEN, in silence. In the mere state of being. The stones, the boulders the mountains, the rivers, the oceans, and all within them. The wind, the storm, the tornado.
It is an eternal language of rhythmn, mathematics, science, wisdom, art, love, and power. When one does not speak this language, and cannot comprehend the language, a tornado seems dreadful. To one that has realised the reflection of the divine names, a tornado that covered the horizon would translate the emotions they felt within.
Music is the formless speach that translates eternal emotions that whisper within.
It is the messenger of the language which is not spoken.
If the vibration speaks of filth. It is unholy. If it vibrates of higher planes, it is holy.
    Allah knows best.

Exactly. Music is a beautiful art that is in invented by humans to connect. Music has the power to unite people all around the world and can spread love & peace. I strongly disagree with islam on this matter. Music doesn’t make a human evil. A human is good or evil by nature and it has nothing to do with music. An intelligent human being doesn’t get affected by these things.

In the first age, in the first battle, when the shadows first lengthened, one stood. Burned by the embers of Armageddon, his soul blistered by the fires of Hell and tainted beyond ascension, he chose the path of perpetual torment.
In his ravenous hatred he found no peace, and with boiling blood he scoured the Umbral Plains seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him.
He wore the crown of the Night Sentinels, and those that tasted the bite of his sword named him... the Doom Slayer.
Tempered by the fires of Hell, his iron will remained steadfast through the passage that preys upon the weak. For alone he was the Hell Walker, the Unchained Predator, who sought retribution in all quarters, dark and light, fire and ice, in the beginning and the end, and he hunted the slaves of Doom with barbarous cruelty; for he passed through the divide as none but demon had before.
And in his conquest against the blackened souls of the doomed, his prowess was shown. In his crusade, the seraphim bestowed upon him terrible power and speed, and with his might he crushed the obsidian pillars of the Blood Temples.
He set forth without pity upon the beasts of the nine circles. Unbreakable, incorruptible, unyielding, the Doom Slayer, sought to end the dominion of the dark realm.
The age of his reckoning was uncounted. The scribes carved his name deep in the tablets of Hell across eons, and each battle etched terror in the hearts of the demons.
They knew he would come, just as he always had, as he always will, to feast on the blood of the wicked. For he alone could draw strength from his fallen foes, and ever his power grew, swift and unrelenting.
None could stand before the horde but the Doom Slayer. Despair spread before him like a plague, striking fear into the shadow dwellers, driving them into deeper and darker pits. But from the depths of the abyss rose The Great One, a champion mightier than all who had come before. The Titan, of immeasurable power and ferocity. He strode upon the plain and faced the Doom Slayer, and a mighty battle was fought on the desolate plains.
The Titan fought with the fury of the countless that had fallen at the Doom Slayer's hand, but there fell the Titan, and in his defeat the shadow horde were routed.
And in his terrible rancor between worlds and through time, the Hell Walker found the wretch who shall not be named, but in his heresy was loyal to his evil cause. The wretch adorned the Doom Slayer in a mighy armor, wrought in the forges of Hell, impenetrable and unyielding.
With sword and shield of adamantine strength, the Doom Slayer set to banishing all that was left unbroken by his savagery to the void.
Yet as the mighty Titan fell and dread engulfed the armies of Doom, the demon priests of the Blood Temples laid a trap to capture this scourge of Hell.
Insatiable, even by the vanquishing of the Great One, the Hell Walker sought prey in the tombs of the Blood Keep and blinded by his fervor, the lure drew him in.
The priests brought down the temple upon the Doom Slayer, and in his defeat entombed him in the cursed sarcophagus.
The mark of the Doom Slayer was burned upon his crypt, a warning to all of Hell that the terror within must never be freed. There he lies still, and ever more, in silent suffering.

As a Muslim ... We have no need to ask "oh man why it's haram ???"
Because as we Submit our will to the will of God , we should leave the things which He made Haram ...
But still , we should think that why it's haram, but not with the intention of checking if the orders of Allah are right or wrong ... But we should think because Allah has ordered us to think in the things of World ... So we can think of the effects which music cause to humans ...

People, islam is about prevention. Music CAN lead to bad things therefore it is haram. Just like some people dont get effected by alcohol but some people do, therefore it is haram. In islam we PREVENT. Or, Allah prevents.
Same goes for convos between man and woman, it doesn't always lead to affairs but it does sometimes therefore it is strictly forbidden.
