Haha. 7Eleven coffee is so cheap as a $1. But these days I get almond milk coffee from proper barista and it cost me between $5-$6. I am never going back to 7Eleven days. Hahah

Yes .. you can live in Melbourne CBD. You can then take train from all the city loop stations in CBD to Caulfield Train Station and campus is less than 50 metres from the station. Or you can take tram No. 3 direct from Swanston Street in middle of CBD which goes right next to Caulfield Train Station ... easy ... rent is not cheap though ..

What’s up dude, I’m currently a student at a US community college and was wondering if Monash University accepts transfers from people at US colleges/universities and if so how competitive is it? I’m also a US citizen if that matters
I am pretty sure you can get it as long as ur grades satisfies the course requirement. Its on the website under each courses. I know many people who first do college (similar to community college) and then join University here.

It differs with the course u planning to take. You can just google “course name Monash” and you will get the page which explains about the course. You will also find the course requirements. Or please check with an agent.

Any tips on what topics/subjects to study to be prepared? and how many hours/days a week do you go to class?
You don’t need to prepare anything unless u don’t have any basics in coding. It’s better to have an idea of basics. I remember teaching my best friend who doesn’t have any coding background at all and it took a lot of effort to officially make him a coder. I am proud of him and I believe anyone can do it.
Regarding hours, I usually don’t attend lectures unless it’s important. I have lecture recordings and we can watch it before exam. We attend Uni mainly for the studio (lab works).

Why Data science is so underrated in Australia? It's not even in their skilled occupation list.
I feel like Australian government is taking immigrants for granted. Their skilled list is absurd in some ways. I hope they will do a complete makeover after this COVID situation.

Master of data science is of how many years?
2 years. But it will start on Feb and end on November (2nd year). Graduation will be on December. I am talking about the February intake.

I am not living on campus. I find it expensive, a bit strict and also less spacious. You kind of miss the freedom

Brittney James ahah I’m from originally from Congo lining in Melbourne and I can tell you Monash is really diverse but “black” people or Africans for better terms only make up one point six percent of Australia’s population so it’s few to none that attend Monash especially in his course but nonetheless still attend as it’s a great uni x
