Today, we will be looking at Elites VS Brutes to see who is the best of the best. Who will come out on top??
Also Included are some cool stats about each of the AI types, which could be useful in the Campaign as well!
A lot of work went into making this video, from learning the Mod Tools, to record, to editing. Leaving a Like and Subscribing would help me so much!

Clearing up some confusion! The Elite Minors cant actually spawn in two different colors. The Blue variation (which most people are familiar with) and the red variation which I show in the video! When I went to record the stills for the stats, the red variation popped in, so thats what I went with.

Um, buddy the red elites are majors, opening the game data shows they have more shields and health than the blue minors. This ha been true since Halo 1 all the way up to Infinite.
@@RobGordonJC You can clearly tell the red minor and Major are different shades of red
@@MrBoxen the minors are two shades of blue, and the red majors are two shades of red.
This was done intentionally by Bungie to add some visual variety to the Elites, as most of their other ranks from Halo 2 were absent in 3.
The Elite Shipmaster with the energy rod was blind he didn’t hit shit with that thing lmao 🤣
Damn, noticed no one else has pointed it out but in the final round, Arby won the rematch with the chieftain before going on his killing spree and avenging R'tas. Absolute legend

In the Lore, one determined Elite Ultra would be able to take out multiple brutes before falling.
3:20 This is actually a War Chieftain. One rank above a regular Brue Cheiftain
I believe he just went off the rank names they have in their character tag or whatever. In the files chieftain (weapon) is actually what that variant is called. Likely so the guys making the game and spawning the dudes in could easily tell which variant was what just by the tag name

This was far more entertaining than I thought it would be I remember watching ai battles as a kid off some channel called like 13 something but this with the crowd and the open area felt like I was actually watching the 2 species playing like gladiator football or something 😂

It's so strange to see the lack of melee attacks coming from the elites. That to me, was what made me cautious of being in close quarters with them in Halo 1 and 2.

One thing that's interesting to me, is resource wise for the Covenant, the Brute Ultra is outfitted with equipment resembling the elite minors.
This is honestly what Halo Infinite should have been, tons of freedom to create your own Halo experiences and have a blast. Glad that the modding community is still so active and provide fun content like this.

I never noticed how the brutes wore their armor. I always thought it was the rockets and explosions peeling the bits away and never realized they just had the armor in small portions on their body
Felt funny seeing Brutes with blue plasma rifles.
The ending was epic!!!
Odd, for some reason the Spec ops elites weren't able to land meele attacks, reason of why when a Brute came up too close, the elites instead of whacking 'em, they just stood there doing nothing and in best scenarios tried to fall back for being able to shoot again (can't shoot in close contact?)
Other than that, really fun to watch
The Elite Rifle class Melee( aka just the player Melee slapped on Elite ai) has the wrong frame events so it doesn’t do damage and Cucks the Elites Rip.

The Elite spec ops is actually Rangers, which deal with Zero gravity with their jetpacks.
makes them an even better couterpart for the brute jetpacks

Wow that unexpected, the elites ai in game is seemingly so lacking as would expected though cause there not the enemy in game. But with them not having any armor abilities or them just like standing there and not meleeing half the time or just not at all with the carbines I'm surprised how many times they won
Can you do marines vs elites/brutes?
Something I'd have loved to see is elites using brute weapons and brutes using elite weapons, like a inverted mode or something like that... and why didn't you use the legendary values? Legendary mode is supposed to improve the AI as well so maybe you can try that out in the next VS you do, thanks for the video!

I've been messing around with Legendary values for the health etc, but hard for me to justify when and where I would do it. Probably for future videos all of the heatlh will be legendary.

Is it possible to spawn the elite ranks with the multiplayer armor ?
I believe there are ways to spawn in spartans and Elites with any of the cuztomization options that are available in game. I personally do not know how, though. If I'm messing around and find out, I'll be sure to reply to this comment.

One thing I noticed immediately aside from some of the incorrect rank indications
Why are all the brutes fighting already hunched over? Brute ai have 2 different move sets depending on if their armor is still up or not. When they have their armor they stand up tall and don't get hunched over like that until it breaks

yeah lmao, so the Minors can actually spawn in two different colors, the blue variation that most people know, and then a red version. The Majors always spawn in that darker red.

I haven't thought about it, but maybe! Would have to do some reworks on the maps to get everything figured out to make it enjoyable as a mod.

This is a good idea that I have tested! Turns out the marines are extremely strong so it's not that exciting against the grunts.
Would have to figure out some sort of fun handicap...

I found in testing the invisibility became a non factor. They were basically regular brutes. Maybe I set something up wrong, though.

elites are just better, brutes have armour witch doesn't recharge but elites do. I honestly don't know who favours brutes over elites. ohh yeah at arby vs chieftan arby barely hit the brute
Can’t be a Minor Elite at the beginning since it has red armor.

Elite Spec Ops pull their health from their Elite Major Parent Char btw. Spec Ops Commander pulls his from the Spec Ops.
Also I have to ask.......you know Minors are the Blue Elites Right? Confused cause you showed a Major in the Minor section lol
Also the Elite Rifle Melee Animation is broken which is why they got stomped in Melee that Carbine round. Can’t do Melee damage with that weapon class.

What you think is a minor variant is the major_scl Variant.
Both minor_scl and minor_dog are blue. Dog dark blue and scl bright blue.
@@tylerellis9097 @Tyler Ellis I messed around a lot with the mod tools. Almost everytime I would spawn in multiple minor variations (straight from Sapien) they would almost always spawn in two different color combinations. One red and one blue. Everytime I spawned in a major variation, they were always the dark crimson color.
@@SpinnyHat Are you sure they’re not being affected by Rank up? If you just spawn the Minor variant on the Elite Bipd you’ll see they only come in Blue. Otherwise I’m not sure what’s turning them into Majors for you. You can check their rack colors in the Elite Bipd btw.
