In the USA 🇺🇸 the sweet potatoes 🍠 are orange in color… Also, White potatoes, yellow,purple and redskin potatoes.😊

In America, the kabobs are put on the grill not fried. Also, potatoes would last longer cut in chunks and not slices. For us the sticks are called "skewers". The sausages are called hot dogs. I have to learn the African names for all this when I return to Ghana. Great job.

hello Tati, nice recipe . The sticks are ok. you have to soak it in water to make it more flexible and less prone to breakage. We soak it hours before we even start the preparation . Same applies to grilling. That way they don't break easily

as an american expat living in Ghana for over a year . my wife is broadening my culinary tastebuds with foods of Ghana .. so far I, think Groundnut soup with chicken over rice is my fav. the sausage is usually Chicken hot dog as finding sausage *pork ground in links is a bit difficult* .. looks good ... best thing I, did was pack my knife sharpening kit .. the knives are not the best steel and used a lot .. so I, sharpen the wives knives.

Tatiana, it’s not the stick but it’s way you cut the sweet potato. The potato should have been cut a bit thicker and like the sugar cane sellers cut the sugar cane. I think that would help it fry and not scatter in the oil.
