From the state of Texas. I've been watching you and Wode Maya my favorite African youtubers. I love watching and seeing us as a people living life. It looms luke its a lot more peaceful than here
In the states the beans are called Black Eye Peas and we eat them over rice with a side of either cornbread or fried corncakes.
That fruit is called VELVET TAMARIND and it is very good for arthritis.

My humble opinion, please next time you want to cook beans kindly soak it a day before or for some hours before you prepare. And also don't add salt too early, you can add it when it's almost done. This will remove excess gas and make the beans so soft. Thanks
And also if you want it to cook fast like she said, you do not add salt early. The best way to cook beans is as you said, we add salt when it is almost done, even the soaking is optional.
There is No need to add cawe.
But if we soak it for a day, won't it peel the back off and make it look like we want to prepare moi moi? Just asking
Their beans are organic and don't cause gas. The food in Africa is totally different.
