It’s no wonder why Loki was so pissed Thor was made king. Loki was a lot more diplomatic while Thor ran into a fight that didn’t need to be fought out numbered without thinking and nearly got one of his friends killed and practically ignored it while Loki tried to avoid a conflict.

You're not the only one. It's like they forgot that not even Cap could take Loki on by himself and needed Iron Man's backup. They reduced him to a silly but clever magician so that they can hype up how strong Sylvi is. But meanwhile Loki took on Captain America and even put up a little bit of a fight against Thor. It would have been a lot cooler if it displayed them as an actual threat and made them look more threatening. Make it look more like they were killable but with much effort, AND THEN more shows up. You feel nothing, no sense of urgency or fear in this scene, it just shows a ton of bad guys at the end to show them being trapped. Even before Odin came, there was no sense of threat since they were just disintegrating with a touch from Thor.
