fuckin hell...for you to be going crazy on the rudder like that he must of being going fast...i hate it when you signal and they dont back off, but i have revenge by pinging the cable back at them
3 clear signals to slow down and the winch driver ignores them all. I sincerely hope Lasham have improved their winch safety rules by now. Overspeed at the top of the winch seriously stresses the aircraft. This is not acceptable.
Just had my first gliding experience at Lasham! Was amazing!!! Went up in a K-13 and got to do a bit of the controls!
Yea he refused to slow down so i had to release early in the end!! That was my 4th solo flight so i didnt want to risk breaking the glider!
It was a tad bit low. It should have been 800ft but the little bits of lift meant i was still ok for height!
