  • This 1989 BJ70 Toyota Landcrusier came to me for some minor touch up rust work. In 2010 I had completely rebuilt the roof- addressing all the rust back then. However the epoxy primer used back then had failed and the roof was in danger of rusting again. While it was here in the winter of 2018, I sorted the roof out (not rusted anywhere- just crook paint) - and found the rust worms had crept into many other places. So I bare steel, file finished the whole truck and cut out every speck of rust I could find. That absorbed the budget and then some. Mike is always helping the community out here and fire chief for the volunteer fire brigade at TeAkau. So I didnt mind donating the paint job and the last of the rust repairs.

Great to see a master at work- your proper metal working should make the so called 'panel beater' bog bastards cringe with embarrassment.
