Other than that flashback in iron man 3, I wish tony called back to him more. I mean the dude helped tony escape the cave and helped him become the hero he became to be and gave his life for tony. I wish in endgame we got some sort of closure because that bit of foreshadowing in iron man 1 did come full circle in endgame

I have to admit the last 30ish minutes of Iron Man 3 on the boat with all the suits is easily the best ending from a marvel movie in my opinion. Better than battle of wakanda and even better than the huge fight scene in end game. I love how for the most of it Rodey doesn’t have a suit, it’s really good to see some gun action, and all the jumping and flying tricks that Iron Man does when he is using all the suits is just so good. I can’t believe that Iron man 3 is hated so much

Iron Man 3 is personally my favorite Iron Man movie. Just in general, Tony didn’t even wear his armor for a lot of the movie and I like how the movie can portray Tony being Iron Man even without wearing the armor. It truly showed that Tony was Iron Man with or without the armor

Although when I was a kid, I was in awe at iron man 2, the hammer drones getting lasered when Tony spins and wrecks them made the movie for me. It still leaves me in awe.

1: Tony’s internal struggles.
2: Tony’s relationships with Rhodey and Pepper are strengthened.
3: He learned to love his father again.
4: it introduces black widow
5: War machine comes in

My first MCU movie I saw in theaters was Captain America: Original recipe Captain America. Captain America 1. The one with the really long name. But for real though, it’s crazy to think that ‘Iron man 3’ and ‘Captain America: The first avenger’ were just 2 years apart. They’re in different phases obviously but still they just seem so far apart

Iron man 2 was really good in terms of action but not as good as the first one, I still liked how Tony found the new element through his father and trying not to be an asshole anymore. The then 3rd one we can see the most human side of tony which I really liked and the final fight was insane. It would be the same ranking as yours

Seeing Tony going through the PTSD from the first Avengers movie and how it made him obssessed with making all the different armors, how he had to go through the journey of knowing that he will always be Iron Man even without the suit, it was all really well made. The Extremis plot there was not too bad too I think. But they dropped the ball with The Mandarin, I know we got to see the real one in Shang Chi, but come on he is Iron Man's villain, not Shang's, and I think this was also one of the earliest instances of Marvel doing switcheroo style humor for the giggles, which set down a poor precedent that lasts to this day still. Were it not for that I would have prefered that over 2.
Iron Man 2 I believe has some of the best action in a solo hero MCU movie, you can't deny that the War Machine and Iron Man scene as being one of the best action sequences in the MCU. The set up for the Avengers was nice and didn't overstay its welcome I think, it gave Tony a little push in the right direction. The adaptation of the Demon the Bottle story arc was well implemented I believe, showing how reckless, careless and out of control Tony was and how it was slowly destroying him. Whiplash was alright, did make quite the impact especially at the race track. Hammer was a little wasted but we'll see if he makes an appearance in Armor Wars.
The first Iron Man movie still holds up stupidly well from its story, to its acting, to its presentation and even the CG still holds up and is miles better than some of the CG we've been getting in recent times thanks to the fact that they were not afraid of mixing practical, special and visual effects. We need them to get back to that.

Iron Man 1 was the first Marvel movie I watched when I was nine (my parents downloaded it) and it made him my fav Marvel character. It started up the MCU, revitalized RDJ’s career, and made the character better portrayed in the MCU than in the comics (personality and development). It’s also one of my top three favorite MCU movies.
Iron Man 2 was ok. Downey still shines in the film, but the villains suck.
Iron Man 3 is great, a top ten MCU movie imo. I loved the character growth Tony had from creating villains to admitting his mistakes and he was willing to give up his suits just for Pepper. And the final battle was epic, despite the suits not revealing their abilities, but still, it was epic. It’s a brilliant conclusion to the trilogy, but compared to the first one, it doesn’t really hold up.

In Iron Man 3 all the suits didn't had unique abilities because those were test armors for tony's perfected suit you could see him using mark 7 in the beginning as it is the perfected version of previous 6 armors and hass all their abilities. In this film he mostly uses the mark 42 which in fact it was "Autonomous Prehensile Propulsion Suit Prototype" suit a test build for perfected version mark 43 which we see in age of ultron. Some of the others had uniqueness like mark 39 igor sneaky disco shotgun bones striker silver centurion etc but those weren't highlighted as this would make the fight ridiculously lengthy. But still whatever was shown was freaking awesome. I actually wanted mark 43-84 alltogether in endgame as a reference to iron man 3 but could see it because they were probably destroyed along with avengers hq.
