- Hi all, The XBS Daf is very nice and deserves a sound mod in my opinion.
I found a great video and i made the interior of the sound only. I plan to make the exterior based on the interior with some tweaks but this needs time. I spent the whole day on this wip sound.
I decided to share with you for the first time a sound that is NOT finished.
i hope you will enjoy it. i have added a little more of torque on the 3600 - 3300 engines because sometimes in the game it's very hard to play with them with the heavy haulages.

Magnifique ! Ce DAF F241 mérite vraiment ce son, celui de base était un peu triste. XBS à fait un superbe camion, ça fait plaisir de voir des anciens modèles sur ets2, ils sont en quelque sorte immortalisé.
Toujours aussi talentueux ce Kapitan Kriechbaum :). Hâte de découvrir la version finale en tout cas !

Before releasing final version, can you reduce the exhaust crackles a little bit? Because it dominates the whole engine sound too much ...
I mean it sounds like an old tractor not a truck while accelerating or driving on a certain speed :)
If you can adjust it like your open pipe sound for DAF XF 105 series or like your Cummins sounds on American trucks (equal engine and exhaust roar), that would be perfect then ;)

Very nice sound! If I can give my opinion, I think it's a bit too muffled (at least compared to the original video). Maybe you can fix that somehow.

Hello Kriechbaum, congratulations for this magnificent sound, I wanted to know if the mod also works for the turbo intercooler, because I tried the mod with the turbo intercooler, the sound seems different than your video. Thank you.

hi the sound is amazing but I downloaded it then i got the Daf 3600 ATi truck too but it does not sound the same as your video I even turned off all my other mods any advice thank you
Make sure that the sound mod has higher priority in the mod manager than the truck mod.

Scania new Gen stock V8 1.2..... will this have the crackle option at all? or are you able to run up a crackle version for the New Gen?
No, its an update of the 1.1 version, stock v8 sound, i found better low revs files.
