Acer Aspire ES13 - RAM upgrade, SATA SSD Installation & Battery replacement

Installing a SATA3 SSD in a diskless Acer Aspire ES13 ES1-332-C49U. Connecting the SSD to the motherboard with Acer's special, internal SATA cable - ZSP HDD SATA ORO Cable Rev.3A DDOZSPHD001 LXP 180408. Upgrading RAM from 2GB soldered to MBO to 6GB by installing an additional 4GB RAM module - Samsung DDR3L 1600Mhz PC3L-12800S SO-DIMM. I will replace the battery as well - AC14B13J 2100 mAh.

Hello! Thank you for watching. Please download CPU-Z and run it. Under top fields find "Package" (CPU socket type). If you see socket type as BGA (Ball Grid Array), CPU is soldered onto the motherboard. That means you can't replace/upgrade the CPU.

Hi after you installed the RAM you will need also to download app like microsoft or any related app to laptop? because i thought if you change your ram all app will be erase and need to upgrade also the windows 10?

Hi! No need to install Windows when you replace or upgrade RAM. You will keep all your data stored on your hard drive. No fears.

There is 2GB RAM on-board. So you could either use a 4GB module like in the video or a 8GB module for memory expansion (single memory slot). Correct me freely if I am wrong but I don't think there is a 6GB memory module to achieve 8GB RAM. You got a 6GB RAM module?
