Well if you think about it what do 2 stroke motors use to cool the engine if you can't use water you have a air cooled engine.

Well think about it a 2 stroke motor is air cooled doesn't use any variety of liquid coolant compared to a normal car engine in which it uses a liquid coolant basic auto mechanics is what he used.

They could have simplified their system by just running the vapors through a brand new copper cored car radiator with a good quality fan. It sure would have been a whole lot cheaper than to buy all of that copper and expensive Peltier cells. To power the fan, just use a deep cycle battery to run it while working and charge it with jumper cables connected to their truck.

Jerry's idea should have been put closer to heat source. Or a pipe under the still leading up to a flat point with a vent hole at the top that sits flat on the back of the thermoelectric generator. Was Good idea just needs some editing.

There is still water in that sand, you boys need a sand point well point, hook up a jet or piston pump to extract the water, 1 1/4 steel pipe about 3 feet for driving the point into the sand

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS. A concept and a design is one thing, a design that has no maths to support its' physical characteristics, is one step away from a disaster or gross inefficiencies.
Trouble is once the coils get hot the whole thing become terrible inefficient. You'd need a freezing cold and very windy day or several fans. Why dont they take a large supply of water to the still site? They have barrels and transport? Their solution is highly unlikely to work and in any case will be highly inefficient.
Why make it in the woods? My uncle makes it in his garage. Why go through all the hassle
nothing new really . I have seen coil condenser like that with wet towels and a fan work before. I have also worked with Jerry in the past on projects ;-)
