Richard needs his own show for real. He’s just a super likable person
I thought he did.
Hey he may. If so I haven’t seen or heard of it.
One hundred percent, I'd watch that
I’m not exactly sure he can carry his own show…
But I definitely appreciate him adding his personality to the stable of unique personalities on moonshiners.
They’re all interesting characters.👍🥃
@@BillMcGirr I can see where you're coming from. I do like him on the show, maybe he will get more screen time
What makes Richard special is he is humble and gives credit where credit is due. I could definitely be bothered to watch a series on him and Craig for sure. Good people are hard to find
Richard has some charisma for sure
Dfvp
I agree. He's a very good moonshine, cares about his products, I love how he respects his elders and he always willing to learn and never acts like he knows everything. Willing to learn no matter how much you know is what makes a really good shiner
Richard is one real true Moonshiner. Not only humble respecting his elders and the knowledge they offer but in many ways has become a legend on his own. To all those real men and women making it in the life their way, I commend you. Respect from northern Ontario Canada.
richard makes this show.
where in northern ontario bud?
@@GeorgeWashingtonLaserMusket the fuck are you smoking is the real question lol
@@mikehoncho5764 Beardmore
@@andycory908 you know smooth rock falls or kapuskasing?
These type of interactions need to be on tv more.
Hell Yeah
I was the thinking the same thing
No thanks
The understanding moonshiners have of the ingredients is amazing
They're chemists
It’s literally their job hahah…
yall wht ppl love to glorify everything, yea no sht its his job lmfao
@@curative_fright4 hahaha y’all black people bitch about everything always.
There is no such thing as the term moonshiner its a tradition and by the way this video aint it
I love the way Richard talks, you can tell he really knows what he's doing- and when he knows when to ask for help.
Yeah he's a humble guy, really smart but at the same time he won't go tooting his own horn.
If he really knew what he was tlaking about he woudlnt be calling it Cognac
Richard is a good man. He's just trying to make a living and give helpful advice on how to pathway through life. I love this show.
Them showing how the process works, and passing on the info that they know, is proof that these guys r not really in it for the money. Its about heritage to them, more than anything. Salute to them, for keeping shinning alive. I live in Dark Corner SC (Landrum), and my people has been making shine sense the begging of time. I also know Josh off of the show very well also. We've been friends for as long as I can remember. Sum of the nicest people u will ever meet.
Well it's not like the info is a big secret anyways, whoever wants to learn can with a little bit of research. But I do agree these guys are cool
I think I just found some reference material for the fantasy material I'm writing.
I read your story with a heavy southern accent
@@17thshard62 Was it "Dark Corner"?
Because I thought the same thing
I’m over here in Lancaster SC not far from Rock Hill
02:26 I cannot be the only one that heard him say that lol.
Read the godamn title of the video. One the guys name is digger.
hahahahhahahahahahaha
Man i would love to see a whole season just with Richard and he’s bro
Ain't nothing like a new generation to take over but that can also contribute while shutting up and listening when its time to listen. Richard is good people, a true stand up guy. I'm sure Digger and Mark likes Richard as much as people in the comments. Keep shining boys!
They are having a great time all 3 of them, and it makes for great TV.
The old guys are great too. They also took the time to listen to Richard and respected his contribution. I really enjoy watching humble experts interact
Love the respect and knowledge that Richard absorbs from working with the experienced pros of moonshine. You can never acquire too much knowledge about anything that you do! This man is the next generation GOAT of ‘shining!
Knowledge is the key to life. My granddaddy told me, the day you stop learning son is the day you die.
This kids is why you want to listen to your elders, Richard is so respectful and grateful to these two legendary men, because he knows that if he follows their advice he to will be a great moonshiner. I love watching these boys altogether, great video.
"damn it shot me right in the, money-shot" 🤣🤣🤣
Ole Richard is about as humble as they come!! That's why he's so likeable!! He also loves learning!! How can you not like him!!??👍👍
Richard is the reason i started watching and now I'm going thru all the seasons
#Hooked
“Dry paste, it gets hard as Supermans’ kneecap” 😭😭 I love these people
Richard literally is one of my favorite people I've ever seen on Discovery. His pure adoration and dedication to his craft is nothing short of inspirational. Regardless of the legality, that man is continuing a legacy that has and will outlast us all.
I love how these boys are putting there life lessons to the youngins
I wish them boys would put their liquor right chere on my taste buds.
Richard and his Brother need a spinoff..so talented
Bout time we had a brother on this 🤘🏼🤘🏾
Did you see the one where Mark and Digger helped the real young fella?
Love of moonshine is open to all races and creeds, if you're using this as a chance to big up race relations because a black skinned man is making this then you've missed he point completely.
Richard damn sure has charisma
oooh, he said Digger. Had to replay that 5 times
Wow. Great example of people getting along no matter their background. Props to them sharing knowledge 😀
That homemade sugarcane press was pretty creative.
Probably a wringer from an old washing machine.
@@henrick_the_lover
As someone that stupidly put his fingers in a wringer as a kid, that’s a great choice for crushing sugarcane!! 😅
Yep it’s all fun and games till your brother says it’s fine you’re tough and then the crush comes, wowzers the pain.
I love RICHARD and all these moonshiners . Anything that is TAX free I AM A BIG FAN OF IT ❤️ 💯

It’s either you pay the taxes and have an okay time or fuck the taxes and have an even better time. Not much in between.
are you a fan of meth then as it's tax free? 😏
8-year-old daughter: "Daddy, isn't that illegal?"
Daddy: "I think so...I'm not sure."
I adore Richard for his commitment to clean clear products.
Richard needs his own show
4:42 THIS is crazy without context 😂
Watching these guys working and talking is unexpectedly wholesome
Haha Richards hilarious, they keep warning him and still gets hurt
Richard gonna always make sure you know he’s using “pure sugar content” 😂
Tell you what good Ole backwoods guys like these are hard workin and the most soft hearted giving people you can meet
I like to see people of different cultures working together.
Yep, if most people knew how to work together and be humble like these folks, the world would be a MUCH better place.
They have the same culture...
This is the most fascinating thing Ive seen in age! I am beyond intrigued
When is Richard getting his own show. He knows his stuff.
I love how they took him gave him the blessing to popcorn stomping grounds much love 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 they deserve it
Nice to see someone carrying on the tradition and honoring them that came before
God bless
Just saying
Watching richard cook moonshine is comforting and what makes me click these vids.
What a treat, they're all so cool.
I love the 3 of them together, all of them are such personable and knowledgable guys, easy watching
I wonder how many times Richard was like: 'huh chu say?' and then realized that one of the moon shiners is caller 'Digger'
I freaking Love this! No black and white just guys coming together doing what they love!
I would wager my next check that the stories that Mark & Digger shared with Richard while they were making that Cognac were a load of fun to hear. Could sit there and listen all day. Great men and awesome time they shared with us on this video !!
Iv watched this video a few times since it has came out. I'm always taken back by the humble ways of Richard. That's what makes him a legend in his ot right. Teaming up with Mark and digger,a total win
Mark and Digger. Thanks for holding to the true spirit of the men before you such as the legends before. Rest east 🍿🍿.
man i love seeing people who are passionate about something get together and learn/ teach so wholesome and awesome to see
Richards smart asl and he’s always stoned! Lol cool dude in my book💯
I can watch these types of shows for days, in these troubling times seeing stuff like these is so wholesome. Ya'll know what I mean
2:26 he did NOT just say that💀💀💀
He said digger lol
they figured out that these are the top 3 on the show, good looks
Mark and digger need their own show
Loved Mark in the Wizard of Oz
Man that's the best looking liquor I've ever seen on this show
What did I hear at 2:26 😂haha love the show
These guys have taken this to top shelf level. They all have unique skills in this craft.
Craig and Richard are my favorite. Would love to see more of them
Richard is so cool he has that swag that just attracts people to him
Richard has a super high level of vocabulary, juxtaposed with that southern drawl. Makes me proud to be southern.
I live in South Florida. In Miami sugar cane is grown and harvested.I had a mojito with a sugar cane stick in it and it was SOOO good! There's no comparison to store bought sugar.Nature always has the best receipe!
Richard has the student attitude but the master skill. What a combo
4:46 big oleeeee PAUSE 😂
ya know if they didnt let the gas run for 20 seconds before lighting it, it wont be such a big explosion lmfao
It's all about the production. You really think forged in fire is legitimately what knifemaking looks like?
@Robs Onez... Depends which parts ur talking about
@@robsonez not at all, but theres a difference between fake and obvious vs fake but very interesting and entertaining ya know
@@tacticalgorilla4131 some of the stuff you see on forged in fire is straight up wrong and dangerous, only for the sake of production.
2:26 wtf did he just say?😂
Love watching knowledgeable and experienced craftsmen working their magic together. Aloha y'all
Richard is a genius!
I am devoted moeslim, and never drinks, yet i watch every single of these moonshiners video, there is something enticing about all of this
I miss Sutton man. I loved watching his old clips.
I love Richard he is very nice. I watch the new kick off summit, and I am so happy that Richard and Daniel are teaming up. I love it.
love the part when they spill like half the batch pouring it in
Richard is the GOAT!
Richard seems like a really cool dude
these guys are so funny they’re always trying the stuff while they’re making it 😂😂😂
2:26 caught me off guard.
went searching through comments and thought i was the only one
He said digger. It’s one of their names 🤣
Started watching this show because of Richard - what a guy. Super likeable dude.
I can watch Richard all day he reminds me of my people
What I like about these folks is the comradery and how they learn from each other. Yeah there's squabbling at times but these people KNOW how to work together to reach the end goal. Cooperation is always better than confrontation. Plus it's more profitable.
Brothers making Life Beautifully Special
My three favorite on the show
I love the way these moonshiners talk
Watching these guys do their craft makes me want to go to the liquor store to buy some moonshine, although I'm sure it's not nearly as good as what they make.
These three are the dream team. No doubt about it.
Lol Love these guys together
Richard needs his own show. He also needs his own market. I would definitely buy some of his Absinthe.
2:25 😂 jesus idk who said that lol
This looks like so much fun these guys are awesome
To take knowledge from those who know more than you and appreciate their input. Richard has the makings of a genius
2:26 AYO WHO FIGURED THIS OUT??????
Beautiful kettles, and can cook too.
Hahaha, what an unexpected nice handful of people ! Never watched this before but stayed for this entire video
Richard is just amazing, i loved his episode making banana liquor
God BLESS AMERICA GUYS. 🇵🇷
Richard looks lit at the end lol
Richards aquisition of sugar cane reminds me when were kids abd we stole summer corn for grilling. Except we did it at night.
This was a great trio
Richard needs a show, or to be a regular
I love humble people
I could watch these gentlemen make liquor all damn day.
These guys are awesome 👌 I'm about to start watching again just to see These new Iberia boys
