Easy Rosbora Sweets Anyone Can Make

- Ingredients:
Rosbora
1 tbsp ghee
½ cup semolina
¾ cup milk + 2 tbsp
¼ tsp cardamom powder
¼ tsp baking soda
Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
¼ tsp cardamom powder
Instructions:
1. Fry semolina in ghee for 4-5 minutes on low heat
2. Gradually add in milk as you stir
3. Transfer to a place to set aside once the semolina has dough consistency
4. In a separate pot, prepare syrup dissolving sugar in water
5. Stir in cardamom powder
6. Remove from heat
7. Add milk powder to the semolina, cardamom powder
8. Knead for 6-7 minutes and add 2 tbsp milk
9. Create small flat round shapes with ½ inch in thickness
10. Deep fry in cooking oil until golden brown
11. Transfer the fried semolina to the syrup pot to soak before serving
12. Ready to Enjoy!

precautions before planning to make this
1. One really need to deep fry them otherwise it will come like peda😂
2. Don't dare to heat the ghee more than 20 secs otherwise the semolina will burn😱
3. Cover the sugar syrup to keep it warm otherwise when you will put those sweets in the sugar syrup, it will still be hard😉
4. Don't roast the semolina for more than 4 mins otherwise when you'll put the milk in it for making a dough, it will burn😵
And the last precaution is to be safe from your mom😆

Tip: breakage & cracking on is bcoz of not kneading the dough well. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth & make into the shape u want👍

But I knead more than ten minutes. At first pan the sweets didn't break. But in second pan it broke a little bit. And in the third time it broke totally and my oil was all messed up!

This turns out really well. You just need to knead the dough well and the balls should not have a crack. And don't fry in ghee. Fry them in cooking oil as mentioned in the recipe. 👍🏻

I tried this and it all broke in the oil...and now my mum is going to kill me because it's all messed😟😂
Mine was not broke but the sweets were not look like the vedio shown as well as the taste.When i fried those the outer layer becomes hard and when i cut it its not smooth rather its hard.

How much time to boil the sugar syrup and consistency. Also fry them in oil or ghee? Please advice
Time......It depends on the quantity of syrup. Generally it should be ok to boil for 15-20 minutes on medium flame to get the adequate density of the syrup.
Frying can be done either in Oil or in Ghee. Frying in Ghee will have little added taste. Personally I would prefer mixing Oil & Ghee in same ratio together for frying. Thanks.

First try - all of them broke.
Next try - added two teaspoons of all purpose flour, and it turned out to be perfect!
Hence, if you are trying this recipe, do add 2 teaspoons of all purpose flour (maida)

My first 5 bora's broke but then my mom pointed out that the oil was not hot enough so that's why it broke. The other 5 came out well!
