This video also contains a new partial paraphrase translation of Athanasius Kircher's 1650 treatise Musurgia Universalis.
The best looking and sounding aeolian harp on CZcams. Thanks!
Just wanted to say how much of an inspiration you've been for me and my journey. Keep it up 👍 stay YOU! 😎👍
Well done, looks and sounds (I channel hopped) great 👍
Thanks! Nice, clear instructions
Sounds great!
Thank you, great video!
What program did you use to model the box?
Fusion 360, the free version
Very cool. Do you think something like a pinwheel (think garden/lawns) could strobe the sound on something like this?
You can hear what this sounds like on my other channel czcams.com/video/qKb5obtIzVw/video.html
What is the size of the scale and what tuning did you use?
"...the godfather of all weird and wonderful musical instruments..." No, that would be YOU, Mike! XD
"Unsung" 😭😭😭😭
@@MichaelKrzyzaniak Well then... I will just have to sing your praises a bit louder! ;-)
Next time get the wood supplier to make your cuts, if they offer that service. Home Depot does.
If the saw is working :/
But yeah :D
Great job on the video and creating this wind harp. I've made one window and harp and two larger harps that are vertical.
I'll have to give your instructions a try at some point the one I made for the window was pretty rough but it does work
I was expecting some wind playing at the end of the video :(
Im working on it :)
Almost no tools ...just a workshop full of all kinds of different saws and drills and hardware etc...etc... lol
I get what you are saying, but a workshop with drills and hardware and basic woodworking tools is not quite comparable to a full woodshop. There is a significant difference between having entry level accessible tools and having the specialized milling and shaping tools that a full shop has.
I say this as someone who has a few thousand in woodworking tools and still has so many that I really wish I had access too
