I have a short creepy story, I just adopted this St. Bernard male and named him Mac because at the shelter his name was McDonald’s (I have no idea why) and mac was badly abused but I’ve done nothing but show him love for the past two years of having him... a week ago when my car was getting work done and wasn’t in my yard I heard my doorknob shaking open and it sounded like someone was trying to pry open my door. Mac went sprinting to the door teeth barring howling away and I saw two men sprinting away from my house. I called the cops immediately and I’m not sure if they ever caught the guys. I never heard Mac freak out like that since I’ve had him he’s been a big teddy bear. I’m so grateful for him!
One reason I'm a huge supporter of "adopt, don't shop". Rescue animals have so much more love to give because they've usually experienced tougher times and, in my opinion, value their humans even more, especially humans like you who just love and take great care of them. I'm glad he was there for you that day! 🙂🐕💙

That last story was heartbreaking. Sounds like she may have been an escaped trafficking, kidnapping, or cult victim. And it sounds like she was caught.

Definitely I completely visualize the whole story so it helps get a more intricate scene painted quicker but often they do it because it won't make sense otherwise, you're like "wait how did he get down there without passing you?" or some junk like that but this time, must've just been for me, didn't notice a logical reason..
For the first story, the home invasion w/the father/daughter duo packing heat - that was awesome! Every homeowner should defend their home/family in such a freakin’ great way.
If you have a crazy neighbor or problems with someone pls don't leave your pets unattended outside. In most of these stories the dogs, or farm animals get poisoned or killed in a gruesome manner.
:( I keep my kitty inside.. my sisters cats got murdered by a crazy neighbor here once and they couldnt prove it but they knew

I can relate to crazy neighbor story. It can be a nightmare, especially those with alcohol issues.
You should do something like creepy true railroad stories. I hear some weird stuff happens on some of those rails out in the middle of nowhere.
My mum's friend in the '80s found a boot along the railroad tracks once. There was a foot inside.

Really tornadoes are actually kind of easier to survive out of all natural catastrophes, but it is really scary. 😅 some of my earliest memories from kentucky arent even from being in the middle of one but even just seeing it in the distance and the threat is not my idea of fun, but to each thier own. 😅👍

Yikes the story about the crazy neighbor! I have a couple of those. The guy next door is responsible for poisoning my cats... the other one lives on the next street and has done some pretty terrible things specifically to me just because he saw me outside playing one day. Pretty weird a grown, married man stalks and harasses a kid that's done nothing to him. :/

I just wanted to say how the child abuser is the reason why I am guarded with my daughter. I don’t think I could cut the cord until she goes to college. (ijs) I know it excessive but this world is crazy scary. My son is a well rounded 21yr older but my daughter is 3yrs. All together good listening no matter how many times I hear this.

Damn story 1, most people who tell stories about stuff like that are all like “I know it might not sound that scary but it was the most horrific thing that’s ever happened to me, I still go to therapy” but this chick didn’t even care. That was worse than some of the ones where the story teller is terrified to this day. The person who broke in had a knife and rope, he literally was probably trynna kidnap rape and murder the sister. It wasn’t a simple robbery like Jesus I would wanna move after that.
