fair play man! I was about to buy one second hand but nearly didn't because all the vids on youtube are soo fkn boring,, literally the most uninspiring attempts at making music by people that would probably go crazy if they made a bossa nova beat ... I'd literally talked my self out of the purchase until I saw this!! I love crazy music and pushing things to their sonic limits! I'll be buying it tomorrow =D There is no one on youtube who really cranks it up and goes crazy apart from you hardware wise

I had one of these, but I down sized to the tr6s... I have since moved to the force. The tr8s was fun, but ... had to downsize.
how is moving to the force, which is a huge honker of a machine, downsizing? :D
@@inf0tr8r I downsized from the 8s to the 6s..... then I just got the force because it does everything. So getting rid of my drum machines, my sampler, and not having to use a computer with a Scarlett .... to me... thats downsizing.... but its what ever to whom ever, I get it.
@@chrisparknride6152 So would you say that for those people without lots of space at home or a studio space and loving portability/ being on the go that the TR6S is a good alternative for a TR8S in all the options they both have? Been thinking about purchasing the 6S for a while now to fit the small Roland Boutiques set up I've already got. But I'm afraid I will regret buying the 6S instead of the 8S. #FOMO :)
@@Debralee1980 the tr6s IS a good alternative. I think I was just blurting out my situation ... but the force is a bit of a downsize if you think about it. Not from these drum machines, but from everything else. I don't even have a home write at the moment, so not having to have a sampler, drum machine, Scarlett, computer, and all of that... the force is a bit better then having all of that to lug around... just me though.
