I think that there is a general feeling of "fans dislike Sohan" that it is pretty much wrong, maybe fans of other teams that watch the Spurs 3 times a year don't rate him, but whenever you look inside the spur community the feeling is that Sohan is one of the corner stones of the future. I fully agree with your list. I don't have any problems with any of the players actually staying if they are put in a more fitting role. For example Collins might have more success as back up PF than center, Johnson and Malakay might work better around better defenders. Anyone can stay as long as not everyone stays and the replacements are much stronger players.
Agree on the untouchable. Agree on Ship'em out now (ASAP !!). Agree on Sidy. Agree on Champagnie (cheap and not guaranted). Tre Jones has only one year's contract and is then a good asset to trade (yellow). Malaki and Blake are in rookie's contract (very cheap 3.2M$ and 2.6M$) and should be kept for the rotation (not traded this year). Next year they could represent good assets to add in a trade if they progress a little bit this year. But they won't play lots of minutes... Keldon Johnson has a good contract and should be traded only if it is necessary. It is definitively a good asset for a trade. Charles Bassey doesn't play and his contract is not guaranted. Easy to move away. End of the season Mamu has showed he could be a very good player in the rotation. He brings lots of energy, some offensive rebonds and he can shoot efficiently, especially at 3. Spurs should definitely offer him a rotation player role. He is RFA and only 2.7M$. If Devonte Graham is very easy to trade, Zach Collins won't be as his contract is horrible (still two years and increasing up to 18M$ !!!!!!). He is horrible in defense. He doesn't shoot very well and doesn't rebond very well. He is under average and definitely isn't worth his contract. Spurs needs to find a better defender for the role of center backup.
I would rather win with this core and what we might get in the draft than trade everyone and be like the Lakers that just serve their star and never stand up for what an organization should be
What would be your thoughts be if the Spurs ended up with Sheppherd, Carter, Filipowski, and either Scheierman or Ajay Mitchell. Would you adjust your tiering? I like Sochan and Vassell, though if Vassell doesn't fix his slow starts and poor decision-making chucking up low percentage 3pt attempts late in the shot clock I just don't see how he sticks around when the team is better as he gets paid quite a bit to be the king of the second and third quarters which is fine now, though when you are paying the Wemby tax 0it will become a problem unless his current weaknesses can be developed or covered. I think Sochan is more versatile that Draymond though I don't think he has the drive and willingness to take it into the muck that Draymond does, I think he will be a different and useful piece for the team. Johnson and Jones have earned their stripes, though I don't see them sticking around in the long term. It would be silly though to send out without purpose as they are on team friendly contracts and are solid team players who try hard to maximise their value to help the team. Why no Mamu and Osman? They are both useful for next season, they play hard and are settlers when the younger players are rattled. A well considered board, and I totally agree with Collins he looked like he wasn't enjoying basketball at times on the court and he needs a change of scenery to give him the chance at being the best version of himself.
Check out my video where I did a draft prospect tier list! Also, I think Vassell will be alright. His new contract is kicking in & I believe Pop will be holding him to a higher standard being the top paid player on the team. I see Tre Jones as the backup pg of the future. Keldon is looking like he is going to be traded soon. Osman & Manu weren’t on the created template, but I really like Mamu. I don’t really have a strong opinion on Cedi.
I think Barlow will be back, he’ll get real minutes this year. Mamu maybe, just because he played so well with wemby at the end of the season. Osman and Duke Jr should be shipped out
Staying 100% Victor Wembanyama Devin Vassel Tre Jones Jeremy Sochan Sidy Cissoko Dom Barlow Mamu Possible trade for a good package: Blake Wesley Malaki Branham Gone 100% Keldon Johnson Zach Collins Charles Bassey Devonte Graham Hopefully we Resign: Cedi Osman Idk what to do with: Julian Champagnie
He still young.. just turned 21. I know he does do some questionable stuff, but just give him a little bit longer and I think you’ll come to like him 🙏🏽

Which ones do you re-sign between Osman, Barlow, Mamu, and Duke Jr?
I think Barlow will be back, he’ll get real minutes this year. Mamu maybe, just because he played so well with wemby at the end of the season. Osman and Duke Jr should be shipped out
Barlow and Mamu can take Zach Collins minutes if we can be brave enough to trade or not play him
Staying 100%
Victor Wembanyama
Devin Vassel
Tre Jones
Jeremy Sochan
Sidy Cissoko
Dom Barlow
Mamu
Possible trade for a good package:
Blake Wesley
Malaki Branham
Gone 100%
Keldon Johnson
Zach Collins
Charles Bassey
Devonte Graham
Hopefully we Resign:
Cedi Osman
Idk what to do with:
Julian Champagnie
Can’t argue with that. I like it.
MMMMM
Sochan gotta go. He makes too many bad decisions
He still young.. just turned 21. I know he does do some questionable stuff, but just give him a little bit longer and I think you’ll come to like him 🙏🏽
