- We ride out to Plymouth, Devon to visit MV Agusta Plymouth, We want to inspect what is being called motorcycle art in the new Showroom. The New MV Agusta Orioli is what we wanted to see but no joy this time, But alongside Enduro veloce, The Rush 1000, Brutale RR, Brutale 1000 RS and Assen RR and Dragster R Models there is so much to look at and enjoy.
After Eating from the UK's Oldest Bakery we take our Honda Africa Twins for a ride over Dartmoor National Park and see the wild Horses, Highland Cows and more...

Dartmoor is beautiful when it’s sunny, it can be pretty wild in bad weather though. Who knows perhaps we will try wild camping in the future

Considering how much you like camping I think you would love wild camping. Scandinavia is the obvious next step:) Love your videos. By the way I anchored next to the IOW a couple times . Crazy tides there. I also watched the start of the Fastnet a few years ago. Cheers from Norway.

Augusta, well known for its racing motorcycles. We’re pretty much untouchable for the common man on a price tag. I recall back in the early 80s where I had a soft cover laminated book on motorcycles of the world and back then Augusta had a rotary engine motorcycle and also one that had a high and a low gear one for city riding switched gears to Highway riding Here in United States I can’t recall ever seeing one here. The most exotic bikes we have are Lavarda OCR 1000. 941. Ducati. And now that the Chinese are bringing their bikes to the US under KTM. My newest bike, the CF Moto 800 T. Which is the largest cc bike they make.
I look forward to see how you get on with that CFmoto, Confidence is building in their brand slowly over here but it is happening...

If I had the money for an MV Agusta, I would definitely ride it. I'd get a good quality photo of it for my wall first though. Before I start dropping it and covering it in mud 😂😂😂

Lovely ride, I was up that way a few weeks ago but it wasn't as dry as that! The best place to see Highland cows is in... the Highlands. They are very placid. Wild camping is not for me thanks, I like my 'facilities' too much.
We must get up and do the NC500 soon, it’s been a few years for me. I can’t get on with the idea of digging holes in the woods and not showering to save £30 on a safe campsite
@@ontheroadadventure early September can be a good time to be in Scotland. I hope to be there myself. I rode the NC500 anticlockwise a couple of years ago. I also took in some of the Snow Roads in the Cairngorms and avoided some boring bits of the A9 in doing so. I avoided a bit more by heading from Inverness to Lairg before cutting back to the more interesting stretch of the A9.
September is when I last did the Nc500 and the weather was great!
Your right about wild camping - it’s great for a night, but by the second night somewhere with a shower is nice! At a paid campsite, you can also set up there then go off and explore knowing your tent etc is a bit safer ⛺️👍
We will probably try wild camping once somewhere but i bet we come to the same conclusion, a paid site is much better, theres no need to make it so uncomfortable for yourself when sites costs so little in comparison to hotels
Try using what three words app when you get lost 👍
We have each others location but ewa's not too good at directions, so we decided to just carry on to the waypoint i put in the satnavs for us this time. Ewa does communications and i do Directions on tour lol
I used what three words when two of us were split from the group. The words came through and we navigated to the exact spot the others were waiting. It’s an excellent app.

A nice bakery but i think we got there a little late in the day, We have had a few nice days in Devon this last week or so, its always nice to get out and enjoy your own local area, Dartmoor just never gets old to ride

Life is a dream in Devon with a motorcycle, We never get tired of Riding Dartmoor National park
(11:30) here in the United States. You’re not allowed to wild camp. We call it stealth camping. Most of the time I stay at a regulated campground that has electric and water. Or if it gets extremely hot, I stay in a cabin. Here in United States we have KOA campground.. and travel America. Which is a privately run discount campground site.
Here in England we have rain. Then more rain. In the summer. In the fall. In the winter. In the spring. Rain, rain, rain.
Ah that explains something, we watch a guy who does allot of stealth camping and his videos are massive on youtube

We suppose to be on the healthy living band wagon too but we just love food! We love to go travelling and find fruits and things that we havent seen before to try... Thats allot harder at home though

My Lovely Wife bought me a mobile phone (against my better judgement) because I often got lost and nearly always ended up in Moretonhampstead....its harsh but true to say I have no sense of direction unless bacon is involved.🏍️💨💨🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓😸👍
Haha we all have our Strengths and weaknesses, the key is accepting them and Sharing the tasks accordingly. Ewas bad at directions and Im not so good at commiunication on account of no one especially in Europe seems to understand my Devonshire accent! So ewa talks and i lead!
Do'nuts 😋 have you tried Tesco's custard do'nuts? so good and not too sweet! Nice ride across Dartmoor, I seen the highland cows in Scotland last year, awesome animals 🤠
Well we have to go to tesco now and find some! Those cows on Dartmoor have been really illusive for us, its funny we were talking about not seeing them and then they turned up!

Couldn't stop laughing. I'm from the generation that grew up with out the internet. We used paper maps and it seems you guys get lost a lot with your GPS...maybe you should try maps...go old school lol. Or just get a better GPS. Still looks like you had a wonderful day.
Yeah sometimes it’s the tech that seems to create confusion! It’s always a good day though when out on the bikes
Have to say I’ve only had one problem with a satnav when it directed me onto a road that was closed due to a new sinkhole!
I’m 81 and have many bad memories using maps, forever stopping to check where I’m going. Really difficult in large cities trying to find a specific address. Give me satnavs any day🥸

I had a trip to 'Completely Motorbikes' in Hinckley this morning. I do like the BMW S1000 XR. A real do-it-all machine....But my heart is set (ish) on a Versys 1000.

They are savage everywhere around here!! You dont find road surfaces as bad as the uk almost anywhere else in europe, not even in the mountains etc
The Brutale is modern art, a masterpiece. Indeed if it was a woman it would be Bella Hadid..whereas Mrs Boulder is more like an old Honda CX500...overweight and underpowered....but I still love her....
