The Isle of Wight is providing plenty of entertainment for our Motorcycle camping tour of the Island. Today we Visit The Isle of wight Garlic Farm, and Ewa is Amazed by the Hoover Crafts bringing passengers to the Island. We also move our motorcycle camping location to a new campsite to see what the other side of the Isle of wight has to offer for our motorcycle touring Pleasure..

End of the line cafe is where the steam railway terminal was in Freshwater, it closed in 1953.
There is still a heritage steam railway at Havenstreet, worth a visit if that's your thing.
You have to appreciate the work it takes to keep these things going for us all to see

Well Rich for a rufty tufty biker u have a simple palate😂. I love all the stuff you didn’t eat in Spain with exception of snails, but garlic yes please. As a kid I was fed plain food and I think as I’ve travelled I’ve really enjoyed different foods. IOW banging

Inland the traffic is surprisingly bad for cars, I guess there’s so few roads leading to the town. Lovely around the coast though

If you swap GPS's for a bit and ut still plays up on Ewa's bike, it's definitely the gps and not the wiring or the cradle.
Good watch while management puts the warpaint on before dinner.

If you get chance its worth a visit you only need about 3 days here but the coastl routes are very nice to ride
Coincidentally I went on the hovercraft today to Portsmouth and back, been loads on this weekend 29 & 30/6 involving bikes

@@ontheroadadventure we had a nightmare this morning. We couldn't get out of southern Switzerland due to really bad floods and landslides. A few people killed sadly. Evert road we tried was blocked. Managed to get out and now in ST. Nazier. Camping du mepilatt

I loved the stuff from the garlic farm when I went a couple of years ago.I tried some of the garlic beer, but couldn't taste any garlic. I also bought some of the black garlic and had no idea what to do with it when I got home 😆
Ewa says just eat the black garlic as you would white

Guys again superb content and always with your own humour. Showing my age but Ewa would have gone berserk for the old Hoverspeed, Dover to Calais hovercrafts. Now they were HUGE. Have a Google. Sadly long gone and the catamarans too. Keep up the amazing trips and editing. 👌🏻
Wow we had never seen these before, so much of the old tech seems amazing today… The trains that took cars around the uk for example before motorways, how great a service would that be now to go from Devon to Scotland with your bike on the train

We are fast realising the old tech is often best! Look at all the old bikes, Take the old Transalps or Africa twins, 30 plus years old and still running. You reckon our modern Africa twins will be going in 30 years? id bet not in 10...
@@ontheroadadventure I know, my new 2023 ATAS has just had its touch screen replaced by Honda after them finally admitting they have a fault! Still putting them on a 20k fully loaded bike though! Crackers. The old Honda’s are bulletproof.
Ewas has also been replaced once and has glitches all the time.
Great content I like seeing all the places I have visited with my bike over the years.

FAB video guys. I do the IOW scooter rally every year it’s now held at the airport.used to be on the speedway track up on top of Ryde. You are right though once you’ve done the island theres not much more to do. Might give the rally a miss this year it gets a bit Same as . All the best guys 👏🏴✊KTF.
We need to get a couple of scoots on loan and go do a trip! Neither of us have ridden one as adults

We met a fella in the alps on a tiny vintage vespa he was doing epic miles on his, he stopped to talk with us and then had to roll down hill on stelvio to jump start the bike so he could turn around and ride on up the hill! What a dude!

Guys can you do a video on security and your bikes, the steps and habits you made to keep them in your possession….and not nicked, the type and brands of locks you have used and what worked for you …and what’s worth the money, what would you buy again at a minimum if you were starting out …would love to hear your opinions on this subject…Miliie
Hi, Yes we will do a video on that for you in the future, In short though the idea is to make your bike as difficult to steal as possible, When touring our bikes are Always off the road and out of sight where possible, We use Alarmed Oxford Boss Disc locks and We use a big chain to chain the bikes together, Most bikes get stolen by being lifted into the back of a van so try to secure your bike too something
I wonder if the Fanny Farm has signs hanging up inside it like the Garlic Farm does 😆

A little local forest that I ride my horse through most days has a massive amount of wild garlic. The flowers and leaves have all died back now but when it's in full growth people collect the leaves to make fresh pesto. I don't know when the bulbs are harvested, but I bet they would pack a punch if we dug a few up. I know the owner of the woods, maybe I should ask them if I can dig up a few!

@@ontheroadadventure bit late in the season apparently. Best time to harvest is when the leaves have all gone yellow. It packs the maximum punch just as the leaves die back.... maybe next year.

Yeah bless her! We do have so much fun. Our best tip for long distance touring is try to stop about once a hour just get off the bike for a couple mins and go on again, moving around more often will allow you to go further more comfortably

Just one question about your black widow exhaust I think you said in one of your vids that it affects the fueling on the twin how does it effect it and have you done anything to solve it? Thanks very much👍. Mike
If you take the baffle out it loses power and effects the fuel range, baffle in it isnt too bad but i dont think id spend the money to do it again

I have Africa twin too, It is weird watching a vlog, the dash, as its so familiar.
Let us know how the Garmin gets on, Its a pitb if it keeps losing the screen. I expect from android auto, but not from a dedicated sat nav. My Tom Tom rider never drops out, not that I am recommending it, just saying.
I am thinking, that with a bit of planning, ie downloading maps, the android auto is the way to go.
Some have problems with it, but if you plan how you are going to connect everything, its pretty good. I have head set, tom tom (directions to headset, wifi) android auto (instructions to headset too, usb then wifi), and phone calls thru phone(usb, then to wifi) (head set has 2 channels, hence 2 x usb then to wifi)
IOW looks like a nice place to visit.
Its such a shame on the satnav, its always been great upto now, Garmin have said i need to delete all the maps and data and start again downloading the software, il try it when we get a chance. Failing that, good old google maps on the screen will work via the phone too on carplay
