🚨IMPORTANT: DO NOT RIDE IN THE RAIN!🚨
Welcome to our epic electric skateboard showdown, where we're pitting the ONSRA VELAR against Mother Nature's elements!
Safety First! Riding an electric skateboard in wet or rainy conditions can be extremely dangerous and potentially damage your board. This video is intended solely for testing purposes, and we strongly advise against using your ONSRA VELAR in the rain. Please ride responsibly and follow our instructions regarding usage in wet conditions.
If you happen to get caught in the rain while riding your ONSRA VELAR, it's crucial to take immediate action:
    1. CHECK FOR WATER: Afterward, open up your ONSRA VELAR carefully and inspect it for any signs of water or moisture. Water can damage the electronics and compromise your safety.
    2. LET IT DRY: If you find any water, allow your ONSRA VELAR to dry thoroughly before attempting to ride it again.
Stay safe, and enjoy the ride! 🛹💨

Had my BC2 stolen in early 2023, life hasn't been as joyful ever since but I hope to be able to afford one of these someday soon ! ONSRA is just the best.

this is why this e-skate brand is great imo. actually testing their products instead of claiming something without proof.
but have you guys ever considered fenders or mudguard kits for the trucks? exway, meepo and backfire have these, but their boards arent nearly as waterproof.
a premium quality board with an O-ring and fenders though would probably sell pretty well considering weather resistance is a massive issue for most boards on the market.

Never gonna intentionally take my Velar out in the rain, but it does look fun to ride in.

Will you be shipping BC3's or Velars to New Zealand Distributers anytime soon? Can only find the BC2 here (not that thats a problem, I'm probably gonna buy one of them either way).

Not needed: We use a squishy O-Ring all around the Board. Check the video till the end when we take it apart to see all details. No water can get in that way but the screws have to be checked regularly.

I use waterproof tape and tape down the whole Battery + ESC housing compartments for my TYNEE Ultra. The type they uses for RC Boats whereby they stick it around the top cover to stop water from entering the electronics inside.

How about the remote control? At least that one cannot withstand water. It keeps working but water gets behind the display and quickly becomes unreadable. The old remote control could withstand this much better. Anyway, the display of that rc was much more readable. For the new one, you need reading glasses 🤓. This is the first time in a video that I hear so explicitly that you shouldn't drive in the rain. In practice, it's not that bad, in my opinion. I have ridden plenty of miles in the rain and never had any problems with the boards. Never opened one but instead, did dry it neatly on returning home and have the boards stored warm and dry. I just need to figure out something for that remote. A plastic bag around your hand may work. (Experiences of a Black Carve Direct Drive 1 & 3 rider)

The BC1 is definitely the least waterproof and the BC3 is a lot better. However we recommend to immediately take your part apart to check for water!

Listen, do NOT ride these in the rain!!!!! Mine started exploding, almost burned my apartment complex down. Very dangerous and costly mistake!!!

    • @ONSRA
      @ONSRA  Před 10 měsíci

Of course there’s many other brands that donnot care about making boards waterproof at all. Technically you’re right! However as long as you open your board up immediately after a rain ride then let it dry you will be totally fine
