What you guys do is fine art - I'd be proud to have your skills. That replica is almost certainly in better condition that when the originals rolled out of the factory. Great job!
A splendid effort gentlemen. You have created a piece of artwork of which you can be justifiably proud. Now I know who I'd get to build the 428 XB Hardtop I've long dreamed of......which, I'm afraid, will have to wait until the equally fantasised division 1 Lotto win comes my way.
Beautiful XY.A credit to you! No one can see the I.D tag as you drive down the road or when it's parked.Big deal if it's a replica , cost you a great deal less and at the the end of the day they're all Falcon 500's anyway.
Funny how people call it a replica, that word doesn't give this car and ALL the painstaking work the credit it needs. This car is an awesome legal forgery. It IS a GTHO. I wish these guys could bring my fat ugly wife back to this condition.....
Funny how all the Mopar guys brag about there Bathurst 3 carbed 6 cyl Vals, and all the Monaro guys that raced in the 350 Monaro's /327's for the MAJORITY of all those races, they never touched or out dragged the 351. Either in Windsor form or the Cleveland.
@@caratcranker5874 im a Mopar guy but how could you not love these old Fords. Sure chrysler made huge mistakes and had that 340 but the fact is they didnt use it and Ford built some decent v8s , Then look at the styling, they were the best looking cars made. Ford won , thats it.
+Minecraft Haulers Years ago it would have been economic stupidity to do a replica, today any XY fetches big $. The JG23 and 33 badges don't mean as much as they used too to many people. Good luck with your hunt though, restoring one of these would be worth every minute.
How can it be a shame mate????? for fucks sake what are you on....If some one handed you this car, you wouldn't take it? It's BETTER than an original. Original is so precious, you cannot really drive them around.
Nise but no way on this earth would i pay what people are asking for them, when you consider holdens same cars which won bathurst are going for 1/3 of the cost ? Even if its was a genuine HO and i was a multi millionaire full stop ?
Granted the replicas are over priced, better to get one built. When it comes to the originals, lets take the rose coloured glasses off for a minute. Phase1 and Phase3 Falcons both won Bathurst, and from about 69 onwards all the cars were heavily modified. Ford used local drive trains Holden used US drive trains. In the Phase 1,2&3 you were buying thinly disguised race cars, including the crap brakes that Moffat and Co raced with, that didn't need alot of extra work to be race ready. The only comparable Holdens are the HK and HT Monaros, both with Chev engiines. If you can find an unmoleseted one I think you'll find that the prices are similar, like wise the very rare 350 HQ GTS. As for the L34/A9X pose mobiles, what you got on the street was not even close to the race prepped Chev engines that they raced with(or the Ford drive trains some teams used). Granted the prices are out of most peoples reach but they are priced such because race fans with the cash understand what they're buying. I left out the XU1, the time that Brocky recorded in 72 would have beaten the HK, HT, Phase1&3, XA, L34, A9X, XC and VC Commodore. Why doesn't it fetch the lofty prices of some of the others? In part because it's not a V8 (similar with the E49) but mainly because what you bought on the street was not a patch on the race version. Having riden in one multiple times, the chassis engineering would be laughable if wasn't so dangerous. Personaly I'd rather have a US muscle car. Way more bang for your buck, especially 60"s Hemi's (500+hp in some versions).
I admire the skill and attention to detail in this work.

it's only a shame when u don't think out side the box mate.
What does that supposed to mean? It was built to sell. Not to keep.
DjAxe Soydas it was a reply to minecraftHaulers comment-
