I suppose times have changed and it's a lot harder to stay relevant. But they just don't allow for the odd album that doesn't sell as well. Fleetwood Mac for example, Rumours was a massive hit album but Tusk didn't sell as well. But I don't think any album after Rumours could. Nowadays they would have been dropped.
