- City kept pressure on leaders Arsenal with a superb 4-0 win away to Brighton.
With City out of Premier League action for 12 days, both the Gunners and Liverpool had moved above Pep Guardiola‘s side during the interim.
But, knowing six victories would guarantee another title, the Blues were at their ruthless best on the south coast, dispatching a Brighton side previously beaten just twice at home this campaign.
A first-half City blitz saw Phil Foden score twice after Kevin De Bruyne had opened the scoring.

It would be really tough tbh. He was easily a Ballon D'or contender until City got knocked out of UCL. He'll have to play like a madman at Euros and win it to make up for UCL. But as it stands it's either gonna be Bellingham or Mbappe. Kane might struggle due to lack of trophies. Bottom line is that it's gonna be an Englishman or Mbappe who's winning the Ballon D'or.

Kovacic controlled the midfield. He was aggressive in the press, energetic in the challenge and displayed some smart, one-touch passing as the Blues’ built their attacks.
bs too many times he got caught on the ball and had to back pass rather than turn and drive forward thats why u had kdb and banardo coming all the way back to the defense to take the ball and move it forward, he played good but he didnt control any midfield good pressing but way too many back passes when he had the time and space to turn and drive forward or lay it off forward.
