    I think these adverts are from around 1995, not 1998. What was the song and artist used in the Maxwell House advert that I seem to remember? I think it was also used during Newcastle United's home matches in its Premership days, certainly in recent times.

    I was doing an apprenticeship in 98 at a garden place called Compton acres in Poole, Dorset. I was jet washing some slabs, and the petrol jet wash was losing power and only putting out a small stream of water. So I wrote on a slab "Mr muscle does the jobs you hate". A year later, it was still there!

      i don't think advertisement really works these days. fuck knows how ad revenue on youtube works because i either look at something else for a 20 seconds or skip them after 5. or i could just get adblocker. i don't think many young people even watch tv these days.

    Does anyone remember a car commercial in the UK in 1998 I think it was where The Animals' We Gotta Get Outta This Place was used? It showed a car in a maze in the desert if I remember right then it showed the car get out of the maze and then it focused on the speedometer speeding up. I'm just trying to remember which make of car they were advertising.

      Men's fashion was like pop up addias joggers and baggy coats denim shirt and combat trousers and accessories such as bandanas anything that made you stood out was cool we didn't bitch about things about like you see people do today you look at a women and say she was sexy and they took as a compliment unlike if you say it today its sexist

      Yes, that's when the advert was made but some are reused for years. That was one of them, I guess. I recorded these off the tv in 1998, it said so on the cassette.
