Greetings from Maryland. It is so much fun watching now that we met at SSK. You are such a delight to watch. I just received an angry uterus sock bag and the workwomanship is superb. Here’s to Autumn 🍂
School started and I finally have a second to catch up with you! I got the same pattern and my froggo is super wonky too! Love spending a windy fall afternoon with you!
Ok..you totally made fun of your camo joggers w/ the orange cardigan....but I was legit digging it!!! Like I needed to figure out how to get my hands on an outfit like this
I walked he WHW 18 years ago. I popped a rock on Ian Fleming's cairne. It's a slog. Use two walking poles. Plenty of open flat areas but around lakes lumpy areas. Also walked C2C and Cotswold Way. Lived and worked in Stratford upon Avon for many years.
I am so with you on the sleeve season thing! I am ready for it, hoodies, sweaters, sweats… all of them. 😊 I love your blazer! The colour and the style are awesome!
Thanks for having me over...I just love our visits. And wowza on the shawl...absolutely gorgeous! The frog is beyond cute and I think he needs to be nestled on one of the nooks behind you so we can keep admiring him! 🐿❤🐿❤🐿 Also, you make me feel so much better because I have sooooo many projects started and hop from one to another, but you are much better at finishing. 😘
This was a great episode. I am also a fan of TLYarncrafts. I'm a very mediocre crocheter and she has helped me so much. And I love all of the gorgeous gold in your projects.
OMG, I feel the same exact way about reenacting... I'm glad I'm not alone. It's like, it's fascinating but at the same time yeah, I feel embarrassed. LOL. Kudos to them though for real, haha.
I love the orange jacket on you. Don't destroy it. I too am embarrassed for people and have a physical reaction. I can't watch game shows that have famous people on it. I get so embarrassed for them.
Morning! I was just watching a bookie CZcamsr going over a few recent reads and she mentions this book…Amy Reichert - The Simplicity of Cider. It centers around apple orchards and the science behind making cider. It sounds like something you may like!! Have a good weekend. - Ryan
OMG I want it all! No time to do something else, story of my life, my husband was on top of that, "Oh your rearranging the entire house, you must have a test coming up" hahahahahaha BTW, bean burritos are delicious ;) I like the jacket very much. embroidery books I have never seen those before. As always, I love your podcasts, you bring a smile to my face.
I didn't even noe about this single player cutie rpgs. My friends all play, slautering monster stuff and i never liked it. But this seems to be fun. Maybe there will be a knitting one in the future. Like everytime you solve a, mystery you get the next part of a knitting pattern. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely day
You ABSOLUTLEY!! should walk the West Highland Way!! I did it with my roommate in 2019, and it was so worth it. We were so hardcore that we camped, but all the airbnb and hotels on the walk we amazing. We're going to do it again in a few years, and take the husbands with!
Can you help me? I have a question, and I've had this question ever since I noticed this, why is there a carabiner on the basket behind you? Is it holding something together or was it just put there on a whim where it now remains. Every time I see it, I go "there it is" and I ponder its existence on the basket in the cubby hole.
Hi Kim! I use it as a yarn guide. My swift is directly above it and my winder is at waist level on your right (as you look at the shelves), so it helps keep the yarn at the right angle for winding.
OMG everything you showed is beautiful. You almost make me want to go down the rabbit hole to do embroidery. I bought the frog pattern too and I'm afraid of the seaming. I even bought the eyes at the web site she recommended. Yours is so freaking cute. I also bought the toad pattern you knit but haven't knit that up as of yet.
Thanks for having us over, it's always fun to hang with you. Just want to say that there are as many styles of illustration as there are people who illustrate and if you want to make a graphic novel you totally can! Check out the work of Hiller Goodspeed to see some highly effective and charming communication with "simple" drawings.
You can Tunisian Crochet in the round with two colors with one in the “background” and one in the “foreground” I spent one winter season about eight years ago deep in it. 😂🤣😂
Fantastic episode. BTW you know that you live in the same city as the largest RPG and table type gaming convention in the world. GenCon is early August every year. Oh, and don’t worry if you don’t know how to play the games, they are super happy to teach you. Everyone there is very nice.
I love tabletop RPGs. I just got The Wild Beyond the Witchlight which is a d&d supplement set in a magical circus and fairy world. It doesnt even have to have any combat. Not everyone does funny voices, in my groups games we just talk normally and say what we are doing. Yes, I am a d&d enabler. Also I love the orange cardigan.
My family is the poster child for pandemic/stranger things perfect storm of getting into D&D, so I'm picking up what you're putting down at the beginning of the episode 😆 And I just want to say that watching other people play RPGs and playing them yourself are two different things and it's ok to not like one or the other (or both!) I hadn't heard of these solo journaling RPGs and now I'm intrigued! Maybe I'll do that for NaNoWriMo this year
Thank you, Amy Beth. Thank you for being you. Also I’m pretty sure you’re my identical twin. Anyone else here think that every time y’all watch an episode?
Egads woman you're looking bloomin amazing! Love the hair/jacket combo too. Can i ask, are you on a particular diet? Because I really need to loose weight for health reasons and I'm constantly failing. You really are looking amazing you know 👍
I’m so glad you like it….She will have them in September as they are a holiday colorway (which I failed to mention)…I’ll be sure to mention when they become available!
Your talking about Apawthecaria reminded me: I bought and LOVE Isle of Cats on your recommendation. My daughter and I play the family version all the time. But I cannot understand the standard version! The baskets and the fish are too much for me.
The cardi is super cute. I was thinking I need me a pair of camo joggers now!! I think it's a cute outfit! You look great! I need to lose menopause weight n you clearly are losing weight....how are you doing it?
Have you ever watched Critical Role on CZcams? It's a bunch of voice actors playing DnD, and I felt a similar cringe as what you describe when I first started watching, but then I fell deeply in love and became kind of obsessed. Might be a good candidate for your exposure therapy? 😅 I recommend starting with Campaign #2.
Is it just me, or would the Hesti hat totally turn into a Halloween pumpkin themed one, if you changed the now white round thingies on it to the color of the cardigan you were wearing?? I kept seeing carved pumpkin faces at the round whites and maybe with the color change others would see it too..
Roll players are actors. Film/reality celebrities are all the sane they are actors playing people they want to be or get paid to pretend they are someone else. This ' might' be what you're talking about 😁. Mmmm
You, are, not, a,lone re: how you feel observing rpg, etc: it is NOT a spectator sport, no matter what anybody says otherwise!!! Cuz, seriously, I just wanted to grab one of those kids on Stranger Things when they were doing their rpg and say "Get over yourself!!! You're an idiot!!" BUT... at home, I'm completely cool and clever because I can speak for the cat all day because my husband doesn't understand him, or when I re-enact what he did (the cat) when he played Super Ninja on the bed with his ball, or when quail run across the road in front of our car, swearing their tiny heads off, "O, Shxt! O Shxt!" over and over while they run zigzag in front of us instead of simply turning left into the bushes. Just saying, u r not alone. I know people think I'm an idiot. Just ask my husband, or the cat. (🤣) 😘
I'm now using "I'm a patron of the arts!" to explain my books, my yarn, my crazy huge Ravelry library. Thank you for giving me the verbiage. 💕
Oh my goodness , That has to be the most adorable little froggy I have ever seen.
Your weight loss is very inspirational for those of us (me) who give up over and over after failing toward that end. Thank you for being you.
My whole paycheck goes to The Woolly Thistle 😂. I’m a patron of the arts!
You are killing me! You are the Medici of Woodland Creature RPGs!
Frog is freaking adorable 🥰
Greetings from Maryland. It is so much fun watching now that we met at SSK. You are such a delight to watch. I just received an angry uterus sock bag and the workwomanship is superb. Here’s to Autumn 🍂
You are so joyful to watch Amy Beth 😁!
Thanks for mentioning mill yardage. What a great resource! I love your orange thermal.
I like your orange cardi. It looks perfect for throwing on when you want just that little bit extra.
School started and I finally have a second to catch up with you! I got the same pattern and my froggo is super wonky too! Love spending a windy fall afternoon with you!
Your Tunisian crochet project is soo pretty. I’m interested. But the frog….he’s the best part of this vlog. You are incredibly talented.
This episode could have totally been called, “Because I’m a patron of the arts!”
Apawthecaria sounds intriguing!
Love the Brain Frieze project. Need more Gus! Perhaps he could have a shenanigan segment of his own.
Ok..you totally made fun of your camo joggers w/ the orange cardigan....but I was legit digging it!!! Like I needed to figure out how to get my hands on an outfit like this
I can totally understand frog channeling his anxiety. That’s the story of my life. 🤷♀️
hoodie dress with wool tights!!! 🧡

Thoroughly enjoyable and informative (RPG!?) episode. I haven’t dropped by in a while and so glad I did.
Your jacket is on point, one of your best, wear it every day, color and fit are so flattering! Dot's creatures just make me smile, love yours.
I am so with you on the sleeve season thing! I am ready for it, hoodies, sweaters, sweats… all of them. 😊 I love your blazer! The colour and the style are awesome!
As always, you are so very entertaining.
"Cause I'm a PATRON of the ARTS!" Lol. Your frog is absolutely adorable. I love his anxious little face.
Thanks for having me over...I just love our visits. And wowza on the shawl...absolutely gorgeous! I gasped when I saw your shawl! So gorgeous!
This was a great episode. I am also a fan of TLYarncrafts. I'm a very mediocre crocheter and she has helped me so much. And I love all of the gorgeous gold in your projects.
I'm not sure what you're doing but you look more fabulous than usual. I love your face!
Everything you make inspires me!
I am so ready for Halloween bags!
OMG, I feel the same exact way about reenacting... I'm glad I'm not alone. It's like, it's fascinating but at the same time yeah, I feel embarrassed. LOL.

Love your podcasts, really look forward to them! You don’t disappoint. Love the product and source references! Made the frog and toad and love them.
That side eye frog is everything. He is wonkily perfect. But he could use a decorative gourd to lean on.
Your wrap is gorgeous!

Kim, I notice the details also. 🧐😊

@@fatsquirrelfibers I've wondered that too! Thanks for asking that, Kim!
@@fatsquirrelfibers Brilliant!
Top tip!

Oh yes. I love tabletop games, so I did know. I might have to check out the ttrpg side of things next yeear🧡
I LOVE the colors in your colorwork hat! Also, my two shelties went bonkers when they heard Gus barking. So... Maggie and Winnie say hello! 😆
Oh dang it! I intended to edit that out, but clearly missed it. Apologies!
@@fatsquirrelfibers LOL, no worries! I thought it was funny!
You got me at edible. 😂
I hear you with the sleeves.

I’d like her to share too
❤️❤️❤️
Oh count me in West Highland Way!
❤️🤗
I’m a bit sad another crafty girl does not seem to have that color wait any longer. I really love it.
I’m so glad you like it….She will have them in September as they are a holiday colorway (which I failed to mention)…I’ll be sure to mention when they become available!

Girl I’ve watched you since day 1. You are losing so much weight. Please share.
Love the sweater! Have you seen the pattern on ravelry for rhino baby?
Yes! It was her freebie last month? this month?

Thank you for the suggestion!
I cant watch live television 😂 and when my boyfriend plays with his online D and D group I have to have 2 closed doors between us and my headset on xx

I could see that!
Could give the name & the link of embroidery stitch project you did.
Also the name the author of the frog.
Thanks❤️❤️🥰
I feel the exact same way with secondhand embarrassment. If you figure out a way to make it more bearable please let me know!
