8:09 for context, (don't read this if context will make it less funny for you) this youtuber is trans. he's referring to how after you transition enough to pass, using public restrooms is a lot less uncomfortable. as a trans guy myself, i can relate. cis people will never understand the level of anxiety that public restrooms induce for us.

You may not care, but the "sword of damocheese" refers to the story of "The Sword of Damocles". In a nutshell, a dude asked a king how it feels to be a king, so the king had him sit on the throne while a sword hung over his head from a strand of horse hair, the message being that being a king is awesome as long as you can deal with the pants-shittingly high possibility of getting killed. The "damocheese", in this case, being the Cornish Yarg cheese, whose questionable freshness would make it an awesome meal if it weren't for the fact that it may be so putrid it could kill you. also i’ve been on a horror anthology manga binge recently and there was this story of a girl who got a hamster but it died after a few weeks so she buried it and got another one. it died too and the same thing happened with her next hamster. then when her fourth hamster died she was so desperate she took it to a vet who said “lol no it’s just hibernating cuz it’s winter” and she was HORRIFIED at the thought of having buried 3 hamsters alive so she swore to take the bestest care of this one. later on she was haunted by the ghosts of her first three hamsters who wanted to kill her in revenge but her fourth, still-living hamster protected her and saved her life. wonder what that mangaka was smoking.

The public bathrooms one is funny out of context but it does actually make sense. Jamie (the person in the screenshot) is trans and public toilets can be very daunting for a trans person (speaking from experience), he's basically saying that he's now at a point in his medical transition where he feels safer and more comfortable using public toilets
My first thought was that he had a fear of using public toilets, which is actually quite a common thing.

8:09 context: this is a trans youtuber, Jamie Roberts, who had troubles about which restroom to go to before he was fully transitioned (as many trans people get uncomfy and make others uncomfy when in public restrooms) but now he is, so he can just go to the male one without anyone batting an eye. 19:00 I would hazard a guess to say that part of the reason that headlights are getting brighter is because cars are getting heavier, which means they take more distance to stop. Therefore, you need to be able to see further at night (hence brighter headlights) in order to drive at the same speeds you are used to and still be able to stop in time.
