The best way to be used with a FRSKY Taranis X9D+ radios. Great video.. I currently use a DIY sound and light controler based on arduino. It works great but has limited light channels. So I'm interested in switching to a Baier module (I don't like MFC units as they lack features, have a strong led limitation and use way too much space in our cabs). I plan to use USM-RC3 as I have a Servonaut speed conroller working smoothly on trucks. Thank you for your beier masterclass series, that is a great help for hobbyists.

This is actually what I needed to see when I had messaged you earlier today.. so configuration is where you can set up buttons to control lights and sound

BRILLIANT!!! I feel dumb, but grateful. I could not get S-BUS to work on my FS-i6X. I'm trying this now. THANK YOU BOB!!!

SBUS is essential. My Radiomaster TX16S does SBUS

Just starting my first build (Scania 8x4/4) and was wondering if the Beier unit would be too much as a beginner. Nearly went for the Tamiya MFC3 option last week as a few have said the SFR1 is too complicated. I have the Radiolink AT10ii so SBUS is available.... gradually watching these videos to get the feel of it and think the SFR1 starter kit is the go to... Thank you for this series Bob... All the best, Glenn

The Beier SFR-1 is pretty straightforward to set up. I would just watch the Masterclass series and see what you think. You need to do some soldering but the results are worth it! The Radiolink radio works great with the SFR-1.

When I converted to sBus, I snipped the wires for the esc and servo that go to the rx. So only one wire from my rx to my SFR-1

Yes, you can do that to clean up the wiring. Just don't short it out.

Do you know of any spread axle flat bed or step deck kits for the grand hauler?

I don't know of any kits, but google Coastway rc trailers and you'll find a guy that will build you a pretty nice trailer.
