Before the Europeans came to Africa, there was no Ghana or Nigeria or borders for that matter. Africa was divided up because of greed and control.
The many positive aspect is our problem solving, socio-economic political dilemmas. The philosophy of the countries is different yet with same neo colonial alignments. The educational institutions is same as the colonialists, yet with meniscus advantage. Educational institute with no prospect of stirring the economy, to produce opportunity skills, creative industries to spur growth and developments.

Listen, corruption is everywhere in politics. In the US, it is called lobbying. The difference between Africa and the Western world is manufacturing. Africa sends the raw materials to the Western countries cheap, then they manufacture it and send back expensive. The main problem is stability. Coups set African countries back 10 to 20 years with bad infrastructure , with zero investments. With stability and investments, everyone makes money, jobs, and prosperity. You don't notice corruption because everyone is making money, and people have jobs, living a good life. That is what you see in the West, but corruption is here, too.

Yes, Ghana is small, really small in population size, land size, the size of the economy and everything. The size of Nigeria's economy is about 5 times that of Ghana so Ghana shouldn't be mentioned in the same breadth.
If your analogy is considered then China, Russia, USA etc shouldn't be developed but they are right?
Ghana is not developed and so is Nigeria but Nigeria has a better chance to develop considering the human resource and the size of the country's economy.
Ghana is really pushing and we all must recognize it. This small country gained independence first to open up the gate for other Africans to follow, Ghana trained my African leaders including that of Nigeria.

The question of the difference between Ghana and Nigeria to me will depend on who is answering the question, where they come from, their background and exposure, how knowledgeable of them of both countries and their level of truth, unbiased, and transparency. The first Nigerian speaker I believe spoke some truth but whom I also believe must have hailed from the Southeast part of Nigeria who are rebellious in nature in Nigeria, because they believe are marginalized and believe any person if not their tribe is not capable. So even he speaks some truth, comes from a place of anger, rebellious and bias. To them any place else is better than Nigeria. And they do not claim Nigeria, to them it is a zoo. Now Davido is also a Nigerian. And his analogy is also true, but then then they are both talking about one thing, Nigeria. So there you go, it depends on who you wanna run with or follow.
And let me also say this, that Nigeria and Ghana are two developing countries in Western Africa, very similar and with development issues just like any African country. They are both trying their best according to their current abilities and depending on each peculiar issues. It is not that simple to just say Ghana is better than Nigeria or vice versa. Nigeria has population three times Ghana and as a developing country has more issues to deal with than Ghana period. As a Nigerian, yes we deserve more. And believe one day there will be a turn around. There is no need to hate anyone. Most of the people that always come here to emphasize on the negatives probably have nothing to offer or any value to add to both countries just only to create division and enemity.

She was studying in law, and he was studying accountant! He drove a Uber or taxi. Struggling then she convinced him to switch to law school with good grades and a business background. Ok both graduates now married. They had a big wedding paid for by her dad my cousin. $25,000 just for flowers! Today they live in a 2 million dollar house I San Francisco! Their kids go to private school. And she is head of some Gas oil company in California! They both moved from Philadelphia to California for better job legal opportunities to avoid racism in their fields of study! I am sure they make over 5 million a year as also law partners! But they worked hard to get great grades, pass the bar! And save and invest wisely! They are living the American dream! I am sure from not a poor background but from a average background in Nigeria with rampant corruption and tribalism discrimination it would be difficult for my cousins African husband to have been so successful!!!!!!!!

The two counties are one but differ in living and ways of life. Opposite in nature. Ghana like it light while Nigeria want it thick. One with rich father the other with poor father. Today, both countries are confused, not knowing what to do. The solution is there but who will tell them.
