Any podcast with Timkey is gold.
"He's sadly passed on.."
"Weird booking then.."
Absolutele top bants.. lol
The most important question on everyone's mind, I'm sure, is when will Timkey resume his athletic career in No More Jockeys?
Yeah, I'd love a new series of NMJ. At this stage, I'm just hoping for a Christmas special to show it's still on their radar. It's certainly still on mine - as my regular CZcams re-watches of it can testify. 🙂
@@philh5292 you must heve been happy yesterday morning
I need another set!
Tim Key was funny on Taskmaster because of the mischief and naughtiness. Also the competitiveness was funny in the studio.
Wish Tim Key was on more panel shows to be honest, I think he's brilliantly funny.
Timkey’s late night poetry programme is a regular listen when I can’t sleep
Same, but I end up chuckling away late into the night.
It's a time for cool heads @@daveodonnell8246
His scene as the solicitor in I Give It a Year is sublime.
I love Timkey!! Thanks for having him on the pod again Richard. And if you ever have another musician on please make it Tobias Forge from Ghost 🙏
Love this man so much!!!
Looking like a hip, young Brian Blessed
Ah, Richard, the relationship between Alan Partridge and his side-kick "Sidekick Simon" is one of the GREAT comedy acts/tragedies on British tv, i would have loved to hear more from Tim about that wonderfully fraught on screen relationship, I'm sure Tim had quite a few stories to tell about it. The furtive glances that both Steve and Tim give each other is a delight to behold.. both on Sky's Mid morning Matters and BBC's This Time.
Of course. I am sure we have discussed that in one of his other appearances - this ep is mainly about his book _ plus timkey the monkey obvs
@@Herring1967 Can you do a backflip Richard?
Always a win with Tim. You and he are a perfect pairing!
I think John Cooper Clarke would be a fantastic guest for RHLSTP. And Suzy Dent while we're at it.
Suzie has been on.
video or just audio available?, have the plussers plus plus but only see audio versions, either way enjoying them all!
The only chance I've had to see RHLSTP live was in Sheffield. With Ian McMillan. Y'know, the poet.
We didn’t ask where
@@samhellings8694 You're quite right, you didn't. That was information voluntarily provided in order to add context to my reply, regarding the appearance of poets on RHLSTP.
I'm sorry that you found it ambiguous enough to necessitate clarification.
I am curious, however, as to the value you believe you contributed in your response.
Dickhead.
Lovely bit of Timkey, he almost comes across as intelligent at times
I'd love to see tim do another taskmaster season
I love Timkey.
Yeah but I don't know why.
"I've worked it out. Fuck off" I fucking love Tim Key.... Also this Richard guy is pretty funny I guess 😂😂❤❤
Great guest
The Canterbury cantos from Chapters is a high water mark of modern British poetry, an urgent voice shining a light, repeatedly, on Fat Face
also a little bit on White Stuff
I need to know where his pink jumper is from! Anyone know??!!
Some of his clothes have come from Aloha From Deer (eg the fox and icosahedron). Idk if this one, but I know the fox one because I bought one myself!
Everyone's favourite Monkey-Poet. Gutted to have missed this one but my child demanded that I take an interest in his education. Selfish of him really.
Richard Herring never comes across quite how I want him too.
Let me know how you'd like me to come across and will do that instead
@@Herring1967 I'm not sure, Rich. I left that comment whilst drunk and now feel like I have to back it up while sober. In this PARTICULAR instance, perhaps less like a sniping supply teacher - but perhaps that's because Key can be difficult. Generally, I actually love the podcast. Didn't mean to be cunty.
@@Herring1967 And while I'm being responded to, have you ever had Robert Newman on? I think you guys would be gold. If you have, disregard.
@@tom.lox.ralphs Thanks for doubling down. I think I'll keep doing it the way I am doing it, partly because it's been working OK and partly because I don't understand what that criticism means. I treat every guest differently so maybe look for another one where I am not behaving in the way that mildly displeases you. Thanks for watching!
David Bellamy's let himself go.
I never expected the hear the name David Bellamy today, thanks :)
@@bearhustler
.....or ever again.
@@bearhustler How about Willie Rushton?
Timkey
I think we need a guest appearance from Timkey the magic monkey on Twitch of Fun
Weirdly, Tim Key is an anagram of Mit Yek.
Not to mention K.Y. Emit
On a monday?!?!?
Timkey wanted to wait until his book was out
It was a special surprise! @@Herring1967
Such a treat to have this pop up on a Monday morning! Timkey's book is a thing of unhinged beauty, as were his lockdown ones. You bring out the grumpy old git in Tim, which is always great fun, keep up the good work, Richard. 😅
That was a weird conversation, a battle of egos.
Ha. It's hard to think of two less egotistical performers. You're watching this in the wrong frame of mind.
You don't get it. Read the room.
Rich switches between glasses-on and glasses-off more often than Victoria Coren Mitchell on HIGNFY, but not nearly as alluringly.
Tsk, quantity over quality _yet again_ . 😋
Ethan Ralph is working in comedy now?
Booked the album hall, one ball and grew a hitler moustache??? Coincidence?
Weird booking lol
What is?
